A seriously weird dream, Not a joke?

      So here it goes,

I was in public sitting on a toilet and the girl I'm in love with (not my girlfriend but Im seriously in love with her and my life is kinda all about her nowadays, A.K.A semi-obsessed) was in the same place talking to the guy who is also my friend and while she was talking to that guy who is my close friend ,me and her kept looking at each other while I'm sitting on the toilet and we were smiling to each other too, and while I was sitting on the toilet of friend of mine came and gave me a handshake (that friend does not know anything about me whatsoever, we just say hi and that's all)

Does anyone have any idea what would that mean ???

Seems very strange. I like strange dreams! I'm not sure what it means, but still a cool dream bro.

I agree it is a seriously WEIRD dream. As to a meaning: I am not sure if it actually has one. Sometimes a dream, no matter how weird it is, is just a dream.
It could have something to do with bathroom humor (farting, making gross noises, etc), do you tend to find yourself embarassed about your natural biological functions, or is it a non-issue for you?
If it is acutally a non-issue, then sometimes having someone with whom you are "obsessed or semi-obsessed" about see you on the toilet (even though I am guessing by their reactions in your dream that the others were not aware you were on the toilet) can still be a bit humilliating, and having people whom you only say "hi" to see you on the toilet also points to a humilliation issue.
Have you done something that you are aware of, and you think others may also be aware of, that has a tremendous humilliation factor if it gets out and even more so if this girl you are semi-obsessing about hears about it. maybe a video that could end up on Youtube and causing devistation to your young male psychy?

      Just guesses.

Well, I wasnt making any noises or taking a shit or anything, I was just simply sitting there with no pants on but no one noticed. And no I've got nothing to hide. I've googled sitting on a toilet in a dream in public and I've came to a conclusion which pretty much means that I need to get rid of stress or mental strain by sitting on a toilet in a dream and also being in public means that I'd feel more relieved if I share this stress and tell people how I feel, and she being in the dream explains it all. She's is all I think about and she is driving me crazy and It is true that whenever I talk about her and how crazy she makes me go and how much I love her to my REALLY close friends I feel so much relieved but I still dont know whats with that guy who came and just said hi to me.

      In a Yahoo answers thread:

      QUESTION

Please Interpret my dream .... toilet?
First let me say that I am totally serious about this. I'm not trying to be funny. I really do dream this a lot!

I dream that I'm sitting on a toilet in the middle of a public place. I'll be in a restaurant , school, work, etc. But instead of a chair I have a toilet. I have just finished using the restroom and I'm wiping myself. There always seem to be people talking to me while this is going on.

I have had this dream dozens of times. Does it have any meaning, or am I just a weirdo?

      ANSWER

well, toilets in dreams mean that you are trying to rid yourself of something. (seriously) also, the fact that there are other people around you during a private situation might mean that you are getting more comfortable about letting people in to your personal life.

Perhaps you feel inadequate or embarrassed about something you shouldn't be. You sitting on a toilet in public is you feeling that this thing is obvious to others, but you are shaking hands and smiling with people, possibly indicating that no one else actually notices this thing you think about.

Do you feel paranoid about something having to do with your own personality when it comes to others?

Another type of dream that this reminds me of is the being naked in public dream, where nobody notices it - have you had that dream? I have. And that kind of reminds me of the story of the Emperor's New Clothes in which everybody pretends not to notice that he has no clothes on, except for the one honest boy. Were you in your dream aware that you were on a toilet and that you should be embarrassed or did you only become aware of that after the fact? Was there anyone else who seemed aware that you were doing something embarrassing or inappropriate? If no one was aware, neither yourself nor anyone else, maybe this dream is about lack if awareness or cluelessness?

Ok, last night I integrated the peeing on a toilet in public into my dream, thank you so much for this motif!

here is my dream (it is long, the potty scene is I believe in the second to last paragraph): Disaster planning huge ship (with public potty scene) - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

Although it would usually be best to have additional general background information about you in order to provide an accurate interpretation of the dream, it looks like an ongoing underlying problem exists because this type of dream apparently appears to you all the time.

Since dreams will continue to repeat until the dreamer understands and takes some action about a situation, it’s always best to concentrate on trying to find out what has to be done so that things don’t tend to get worse over time.

Being in public often means in general that certain parts of our personality are clearly visible to others, or that others COULD become aware of various aspects of ourselves, and this could either be positive or negative in the given circumstances.

Clothes in dreams basically symbolize how we present ourselves to (or conceal ourselves from) other people.

So in our society, a male sitting around in a public toilet with no pants on while speaking with a girl would, of course, not normally be viewed in a positive way.

As a result, this image could be suggesting that a certain inappropriate way of acting etc. could possibly be happening at times, and the repeated dreams are trying to help you to see and resolve any such problem.

Apparently no one notices that you don’t have any pants on and one interpretation could be that others around you don’t care about or don’t see certain behaviors etc.

But JohannaB’s comments on the Emperor’s New Clothes story remind us that everyone could also be just PRETENDING not to see certain occasional gaps in how you’re acting etc.

The presence of the toilet in the dream might give a big clue about what’s going on.

Overall, the image of a toilet might best be viewed as representing a controlled place where an ongoing “elimination” of such “shitty” things as anger, resentment, jealousies, desires, grudges, fears etc. etc. continues in a healthy cycle so that these don’t “build up” too much and therefore, movement towards a more developed and mature personality can occur by learning to manage and control these impulses.

So while a person shouldn’t suppress these types of emotions, on the other hand they should not usually display them too openly to others in general as opposed to, say, letting things out with close friends so that they can hopefully help in some way.

JoannaB’s dream which contains a scene about peeing is related to the same general idea.

For example, dreams generally use an “as if” language based on analogy and similarity, so since the medical term for peeing is “expressing” urine, the whole process is often connected with the “expression of emotions”.

And unlike some bodily needs such as hunger and sleep, urinating can’t be put off very long and must be done regularly. In fact, forcing oneself not to urinate for long periods can eventually cause medical problems because urine is related to waste products, and these are created as the result of the bodily transformation of raw materials etc. into usable energy.

Therefore psychologically, these “waste products” would result from inner transformation and growth, that is, the various unpleasant emotions as mentioned above which will tend to be very common if you are a teen who is trying to navigate through a lot of challenging situations.

In the dream, you aren’t actually “eliminating” anything and this could point to the idea that there might not be a regular, controlled way for you to let out these emotions, so they might at times tend to come out somehow without your knowing it.

Also, it’s as if a certain inner attitude or belief etc. (your best friend in the dream) “goes along with” this situation by, for example, apparently not mentioning in the dream that maybe it would be better not to be talking with the girl in the public washroom.

This idea of being unaware of how you’re sometimes acting could also be emphasized by the dream having the mostly “unknown” friend come up and shake your hand, maybe sort of even congratulating you on the situation.

Anyway as mentioned, without knowing anything much about you, this approach to these similar dreams you’ve been having may not fit your personal situation very well, but I hope these ideas can be helpful in some way.
