Although it would usually be best to have additional general background information about you in order to provide an accurate interpretation of the dream, it looks like an ongoing underlying problem exists because this type of dream apparently appears to you all the time.
Since dreams will continue to repeat until the dreamer understands and takes some action about a situation, it’s always best to concentrate on trying to find out what has to be done so that things don’t tend to get worse over time.
Being in public often means in general that certain parts of our personality are clearly visible to others, or that others COULD become aware of various aspects of ourselves, and this could either be positive or negative in the given circumstances.
Clothes in dreams basically symbolize how we present ourselves to (or conceal ourselves from) other people.
So in our society, a male sitting around in a public toilet with no pants on while speaking with a girl would, of course, not normally be viewed in a positive way.
As a result, this image could be suggesting that a certain inappropriate way of acting etc. could possibly be happening at times, and the repeated dreams are trying to help you to see and resolve any such problem.
Apparently no one notices that you don’t have any pants on and one interpretation could be that others around you don’t care about or don’t see certain behaviors etc.
But JohannaB’s comments on the Emperor’s New Clothes story remind us that everyone could also be just PRETENDING not to see certain occasional gaps in how you’re acting etc.
The presence of the toilet in the dream might give a big clue about what’s going on.
Overall, the image of a toilet might best be viewed as representing a controlled place where an ongoing “elimination” of such “shitty” things as anger, resentment, jealousies, desires, grudges, fears etc. etc. continues in a healthy cycle so that these don’t “build up” too much and therefore, movement towards a more developed and mature personality can occur by learning to manage and control these impulses.
So while a person shouldn’t suppress these types of emotions, on the other hand they should not usually display them too openly to others in general as opposed to, say, letting things out with close friends so that they can hopefully help in some way.
JoannaB’s dream which contains a scene about peeing is related to the same general idea.
For example, dreams generally use an “as if” language based on analogy and similarity, so since the medical term for peeing is “expressing” urine, the whole process is often connected with the “expression of emotions”.
And unlike some bodily needs such as hunger and sleep, urinating can’t be put off very long and must be done regularly. In fact, forcing oneself not to urinate for long periods can eventually cause medical problems because urine is related to waste products, and these are created as the result of the bodily transformation of raw materials etc. into usable energy.
Therefore psychologically, these “waste products” would result from inner transformation and growth, that is, the various unpleasant emotions as mentioned above which will tend to be very common if you are a teen who is trying to navigate through a lot of challenging situations.
In the dream, you aren’t actually “eliminating” anything and this could point to the idea that there might not be a regular, controlled way for you to let out these emotions, so they might at times tend to come out somehow without your knowing it.
Also, it’s as if a certain inner attitude or belief etc. (your best friend in the dream) “goes along with” this situation by, for example, apparently not mentioning in the dream that maybe it would be better not to be talking with the girl in the public washroom.
This idea of being unaware of how you’re sometimes acting could also be emphasized by the dream having the mostly “unknown” friend come up and shake your hand, maybe sort of even congratulating you on the situation.
Anyway as mentioned, without knowing anything much about you, this approach to these similar dreams you’ve been having may not fit your personal situation very well, but I hope these ideas can be helpful in some way.
