Yes! I'm really excited! I'm Queen Aggravain and she is such a witch during the whole show! I guess I am a leading role... since there are only three female leads and I'm one of them Nothin' wrong with that!

Possibly! I haven't even started studying. Its just like 10 question, fill-in test. They are always horrific, but I manage to do very well!
....maybe not this time around because I haven't been there for ANY of the material! Ugh!
And I have a philosophy test tomorrow, as well! Lovin' life!

Night of January 6, 2007

Car Drivers
Dream started out and I was wearing a pink dress with little sparkly things all over it. I was planning on going to my friend, Regina's house.
In order to go to her house, I was in a limo for some strange reason. As we were going there, a commercial from Perez Hilton came on and it was about Brooke Hogan, Ashlee Simpson, and Paris Hilton. At the end of the commercial, we were by Paris Hilton's house and he goes, "Wouldn't it be funny if Paris walked out of the limo as this commercial ended!?" So, then my limo stopped and I had to walk out as if I were Paris. So, I was struttin' my stuff and throwing my arms up in the air!

I hopped into another car that was going to take me to Regina's house. Unfortunately, I had left everything in the limo... not like I was carrying much anyway! So, sat down in the other car and K-Fed's lawyer, something Kaplan, was driving me! (I know his photo from Perez's website) and he was like, "Do you have any idea where you want to go?" and I told him "Regina's house! Are you familiar with Matawan?" (Because she had moved in the dream) Anyway, he knew where he was going and he kept trying to start conversations with me, but I could hardly hear him. All of a sudden, we picked up my friend, Ian. Ian was sitting in the front seat, though, and he kept looking back to talk to me.
I found a wallet and I said, "Oh! Someone left their wallet back here!" I read the name on the drivers license, "Roger?" the driver goes, "Oh! Thats mine!" Although I could have sworn his name was like Alex or something else. Whatever. Handed it to him. I motioned to Ian that I didn't have any money to tip this guy, I suggested $7 for some odd reason and he goes, "SON OF A BUSINESS MAN! $8?!?!" The driver heard and started to cough as if he wanted more than the $8. I told Ian that I'd pay him back, I just didn't have my wallet on me.

Thats basically the last of the dream that I remember.

I know I had a few more, but I really don't remember ever AH WAIT I DO REMEMBER ONE! I'll type it out real quickly

Sleeping

On LiveJournal and I guess I was a part of this community and they had just randomly picked a few people to do some tests on. They would come into your house and film you as you were sleeping and then try to correlate your facial movements to the dreams that you were having, I was picked for this and I don't remember ever signing anything or whatever! So, I just remember thinking, "There is a video of me sleeping somewhere on the internet!" I didn't like it one bit!

Gym Class and Wrappin' Gifts
This took place at my grammar school, except I was with my high school friends. I had walked down the hall to fill up my water bottle from the water fountain and the fountain spat the water all the way across the hall! Son of a gun! Anyway, I put the water bottle in, filled that sucker up, and followed the rest of my class. There were a ton of over classes in there, all younger kids who were sporting different colored shirts.
We got into the gym and this boy that I went to grammar school withs dad was our teacher. His name was Mr. Colaprico! He told us to follow him and we went into the music/spanish/health room and he started to write stuff on the board. I don't remember what exactly, but I remember being really ticked off that I had to write this all down and it was completely irrelevant to life's crazy journey. I do remember using my friend's pen to write all of this down though. Jill, fyi.
All of a sudden, another young teacher comes in and hands me this weird looking object with 3 things sticking out of it. He goes, "Wrap this." and I go, "HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO WRAP THIS?!?" It was so awkward looking. He didn't even reply, he just wanted me to do it. He said, "Cover the back!" He gave me wrapping paper and it was just enough to cover the back up and I go, "Thats it! Thats all I'm doing!" He didn't care. He was good looking, too!

Tap Dancin'
This was probably one of the first dreams that I had in the night, so I don't remember much of it! It started out and I was at my old sleep away camp. I was on the stage and people were singing. I remember sitting in the audience and it was like they were filming American Idol. It looked like Taylor Hicks (I don't watch American Idol, fyi) was singing and then when he finished, he was pushed off and his partner had to go on stage and sing.
I had finally gone up and I started singing and dancing to all these tunes and getting changed into different costumes. Everyone LOVED me! Hahahaa! They kept shouting that they wanted to see more and more of me. I can't complain I do remember singing something from "The Little Mermaid" and looking at another person on stage who was kind of dressed up like a star fish! It was classy, obviously!
I did like three songs in a row and then my theatre teacher, the one that I have in real life... unlike the teacher I had before, yelled, "Erin! You need a rest, but you are on the BALL tonight! Give her a round of applause!" He told everyone to break and come off the stage. "Everyone! Come on, get a drink of water. But if you still feel the energy from the stage, you can stay up there!" So, I naturally stayed up there and went to go get something to drink.

That was basically the end of the dream and it kind of went into the next dream with me getting something to drink from the water fountain.
Neat how they both went into one another like that. I probably woke up in between and started off with that new one.

OKAY! I have to print out a few items for school and then I have to GET READY to go! Wah!

Such a long day ahead of me!
School and then I'm assistant directing a short play there, too. I'll probably be there until 6:30-7 just doing work. Hmmph. Give me strength!
Although these dreams put me in a good mood!

Actually, just remembered ANOTHER dream! I'll just do bullets this time around because I do need to get ready!

Bad Hair Day
-Put something in my hair that I thought would make it shiny and lovely
-Washed it out and I had blonde streaks
-Two streaks in the front of my head and a HUGEHUGEHUGE one in the back
-Kind of like a skunk, but more classy!
-My mom was horrified when she saw it
-Connected my hair to something that would show me if my hair was normal again by numbers and colors on the computer
-My mom started to scrap it out of my hair
-Colors changed on the computer
-After a few minutes, all was well again!

Weird!
I'm REALLY going now!

I remember just seeing an e-mail or a piece of paper and it said. "I love you. I love you so much that I only want the best for you."

This one boy in school, Frank, was talking to someone else and he goes, "Well, at least you didn't have a dream with John Stamos in it!" Except he was making fun of MY dreams! ...even though I haven't had a dream with John Stamos! Oh, well!

I'm gonna relax for another 10 minutes and then get up and proceed with my morning

I really did have a quick dream last night in which I was in the bathroom and my mom was there and I asked her how many days our of performance were there (not the show I'm rehearsing for now) and she said there would be three

Yesterday, I began to read through my dream journal over the entry that I wrote the night before about "I love you. I love you so much that I want the best for you."
I wrote that quote down a few thousand times in my dream journal to just try to get my head wrapped around it.
I finally asked my teacher about the dream and what he thinks about it, even though it was so short.
He asked me if I felt any guilt. I told him that I didn't feel it was my unconscious telling me that I am guilty over something. If anything, I thought that it could have been in reference to what my father told me about college and all that good stuff.

He was about to walk through the theatre and asked me to come with him, I followed and I proceeded to tell him that I was kind of agitated that I had just been having these short dreams. Not even long, vivid dreams such as the night that I had 4 dreams and I remembered them all. I have dreams that leave me as quickly as they came. I told him that I just wanted to have another lucid dreaming experience.

He looked at me and just smiled. "You know the reason why that dream came to you." I said, "You think its over this?!" He just smirked and walked away.

Now I keep thinking that I'm tampering with something that shouldn't be reckoned with, perhaps.
I wrote down in my journal that I'm still going to give it a few more tries. If I get dreams where my unconscious is screaming at me to STOP... then I will not pursue lucid dreaming again. I will only record dreams... Like I've been doing for the past few weeks.

So, for the time being:
Let's do a nose reality check.
Let's count the fingers on my hands.
"I have an apple in my hand"
All to determine that I am, indeed, livin' at the moment!

I'm not sure I followed that post. Your teacher thinks you have the hots for him?

I wouldn't pay too much attention to what your subconscious thinks about lucid dreaming. Sometime I think mine is purposely trying to sabotage my attempts. If you SC is trying telling you to stop trying to have lucid dreams, that probably means you're getting close to accomplishing it.

I'm sure I didn't phrase it the correct way. He basically just felt I said what he was thinking, that the lucid dreaming was "tampering" with my subconscious! Hahahah! Nice try, though!

I like your idea more than my teachers! I'll keep up with it! I still want to have my fair share of exploration before I call it quits!

Night of January 11, 2007
A little tidbit for real life action thats going on:
Yesterday was kick ass. Legit kick ass. The whole entire week was so LONG and TIRING, but it was all worth it on Friday when the nominations for Basie Awards came out. Basie Awards are like the Tony's for high school's in my area. They announced the dramatic nominations last night and I was nominated for "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama" WOW! Thats killer! Another girl who was in that production with me was nominated, as well. Only two other girls were nominated, so I'm looking at it as if we have a 50% chance of winning!

Recognition feels mighty good!

Anyway! I had two dreams that I recalled last night, but I didn't feel like writing down my first one because I was thirsty or really tired. I don't remember.

Sweeney Todd and the Graveyard
My dad and I were riding around in this golf cart through this HUGE graveyard. In our travels, there was this HUGE hill (literally at a 90 degree angle) and a fountain all the way at the top.
We heard this man come over the loudspeaker and he said, "Lindsay, I wish I knew you! But we have a new fountain!"
I looked around and I saw ghosts patrolling the area and just talking with one another about something that had happened.
I turned to my dad and I asked him and he told me that someone years ago had dug up someone in this graveyard and only two months ago buried them two miles away from the grave site. He then told me that they were going around killing people for it.
The cart takes us all the way up to the top of the hill and they were about to kill some people. This woman grabbed my dad and I and put us in the center of this ring/platform. My dad tells me that Sweeney Todd had killed the guy who dug up the grave. Now everyone wants REVENGE! Da da daaaaaa!

They had this contraption in the middle of the platform that you would sit in and would cover your face. To the right and left of the contraption were just chairs that you would sit in and get shot in the back of the head. In the front of the contraption, there was also another seat for a nice shot.
The woman grabbed my dad and put him in the seat to the right of the thing that covered your face and then put me in the seat directly across.

All of a sudden, the Sweeney Todd music starts playing and I literally said out loud, "Oh, God. It's going to be just like the movie. All gory!" Hahahah!
The woman went behind my dad and was ready to shoot him and I said, "I love you, Dad! I'll see you soon!" and I covered my ears and closed my eyes. I didn't hear a gun shot, but I heard a loud uproar from the people, therefore signifying that my dad was killed!

She came up to me and apologized for what she had done to my dad and what she was about to do to me! Hmmph. I closed my eyes and covered my ears.

Gunshot.

Woke up.

I wouldnt worry about lucid dreaming messing up your subconscious, there are people on her who have been doing it for 10+ years with no negative consequences.

Your teach may be knowledgeable in his views, a psychology teacher?? he seems to be mistaken with his view on lding if I understand your post correctly or he maybe asking you about your fears of it in which case maybe he has a point, maybe LDing worries you or you fear something about it. After all dreams are often a manifestation of our current thoughts and feelings. Could that be why your SC tries to deter you from LDing?

on another note congrats on the award that is totally great! I hope you get it!

Same person was in both of the dreams as if they were one ATOMIC dream! Jeez!

In regards to the nomination: THANKS! I'd say about 20 other schools were part of this process. Who would've thought?!
I can still get another nomination for the show I'm in now, so thats something to work for. We'll find out the winners in like May! Loooong time!

We worked SO hard for that show! Definitely one of the best we've put on! ;]
