      Good Recall?

      I know this may differ from person to person, but what would be an idealistically good recall number for a week's worth of dreams recorded?

      I'd say about 7 - 14 , it's a good idea to try and be able to remember 1 - 2 dreams per night if not more for your dream recall.

      What shooshtime said. You could get by with just one a day, but more than that is always better. It helps to get up during the night (naturally with a mantra, preferably) and write down your dreams.

      Ok thanks guys, my recall right now is around 3-4 dreams per night, 20+ weekly. Gonna try to stay updated!

      3-4 per night is already pretty good, I've seen lots of experienced dreamers with less dreams a night. As Taffy said getting up in the night and writing stuff down can increase the amount of dreams you have per day. Personally I have a varying recall, usuall 4-10 dreams a night. Whenever I wake up in the night I write a few tags for each dream down so I can remember them when I'm getting up, I even made a guide for that if you're interested (I have a link to the guide in my signuture).
      Personal Records so far: Max lucids per day: 2 | Max lucids per week: 4 | Max lucids per month: 8 | Max dreams recalled in one night: 17

      4 - 10 is pretty impressive. I rarely remember more than 3 - 4 dreams in a single night with the rare occasion of remembering more. I also have had many nights not remembering any dreams at all so it does vary for everyone.

      I've always recalled about 1 dream each night before I started with lucid dreaming, after I started I got to 2-4 very fast and from then it went up a little bit more. When I discovered the technique I describe in my guide I managed to get to the mentioned recall with 17 being my peak so far, and 20 being my current target in terms of recall.

      My memory isn't exactly good actually, but it works a lot with connection and tags which makes it perfect for the tag-book technique I use.
