You don't need to have a dream sign. Not everyone has a dream sign, including me. Dream signs is just one way to become lucid. It is fairly unreliable unless you have extremely recurring dream signs popping up in your dreams, which doesn't seem to be the case for you. I would suggest trying the other techniques like ADA, MILD, DILD, DEILD, ect. Those are just a few, but seem to be the easiest for beginners. You can also combine those techniques for maximum effectiveness. Good luck!

      It's not an issue.

I sometimes have dreams about my daughter's school. I visit there often (duh) and I went there when I was a kid, so it's a common dreamsign for me.

Same goes for my last employer. I frequently visit my old office but I did work there for over ten years so no surprise.

I have lots of dreamsigns...being naked or in underwear, trying to use a bathroom with no stall door, being at the beach or mountains or seeing things colored bright blue. Sometimes I even have dreams about being in the last house I lived in or the one I grew up in.

I suspect you will in time find some similar elements in yours. They need not appear every night or even weekly.

I agree with what the others said. What kinds of dream signs have you been looking out for? Don't forget to keep an eye out not only for people, places or things, but also for animals, emotions, and events such as being chased, or falling in water, or any other activity. Time of day can be a dream sign as well, along with point of view -- are your dreams often in third person, at night time, etc.

      Good luck! Happy dreams~

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

well so far the only thing i could count as a dream sign is the fact that most of my dreams are third person but i always know its not right but i cant seem to use it as a lucid trigger. so ill just have to work harder with my techniques

If you don't have a dream sign (one may show up later, when you have more dreams in DJ), you can just RC at random times while awake, and this randomness should transfer itself into your dreams and you could start doing RCs in your dreams. Remember to put emotions into your RCs - really consider, that you could be in a dream and examine your surroundings to find out. Happy dreams

I have random lucid dreams.. they're never the same. Recurring ones faded with my childhood. There is no sign capably visible in them. I can remember every single detail of every one I've ever had and I'm 20 now. Here's one for you, the hotel. A large golden hotel with red carpet, no check in, no doors or windows, just an ever expansive procession of hallways and staircases going up and down. I always find myself going down to the basement where I am cloroformed and wake up somewhere else.
The last one I had I awoke in a house not far from my own. Som sick freak was holding me there... I escaped into the night. With a bag of his stuff. He had cut up my leg really bad and so I sprayed some kind of rubbing alcohol on the wounds, but it turned to acid and started foaming and eating my leg on the inside. Suddenly it was a new day and I was laying in the same place looking at the scars... And I realized that in this specific dream, I was a woman.

Sorry, I know that I'm a bit late about saying this, but. . . .

If your dream sign is that you typically dream in third person, then, while you're awake, you need to find ways to remind yourself that, if you suddenly find that you're viewing everything in third person, you're dreaming. You could write a line saying just that on a piece of paper (hand-writing things down is much more effective than typing them), or repeating them--either out loud or internally--over and over again, until you think that your subconscious has got the picture. This might not actually work the first few times around, but with any luck, it will eventually. Good luck!

      Question thankypu for replying but...

I do not dream in the third person. It's in the first person. I see with eyes... I actually have lots of questions for you, seeing how you are more qualified to help me understand these things than I am...do you have like an email or someother way I can reach you a bit faster... Like... I'm a spiritual nut case. I see things, have visions, hear things... Feel things... Smell things. I have a 6th version of every sense. It's really Wierd and my parents think I'm skitzo and my neighbors think I'm a demon.
