DCs asking if I recognise them.

      Hello,

This has only happened to me 2 or 3 times, but sometimes, a Dream charactrer (who resembles a person I know) will ask me, "Do you recognise me/us?" And I say "No," and then they Give up.

Another time, a few nights ago, I entered a building and saw someone that resembled a Harry Potter character, which I acknowledge in the dream. I thought about asking them who they were, but I don't.

The thing is, I hardly see people, whether I've met them before or not.

      How can I fix this?

To be honest this doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If you're nonlucid and you are denying that you are recognizing your friend/family member is probably just faulty logic taking place in the dream.

In the case of the harry potter character, I'm not sure why you had to think about asking them who they were. They were Harry/Ron/Hermine or whoever else. If I had full knowledge if your level of lucidity this would be easier to explain.
The thing is, I hardly see people, whether I've met them before or not.
IRL or in the dream? Because if it's IRL then you are probably just Introverted. If your dreams are underpopulated with characters, there isn't really an easy fix, because that's your subconscious. You could attempt autosuggestion to resolve the issue. Chances are the underpopulated dreams are attempting to tell you something about yourself, and once you acknowledge that, more characters will start appearing in your dreams.

Sorry for not explaining a lot. The DCs always look somewhat like someone I know, in this case she looked vaguely like Prof McGonagall, but I didn't want to be rude.
I am pretty introverted, so I guess my dream world is underpopulated, but it's when they ask if I remember them. I think of this as a dream sign, though I am usually pre lucid in a lot of my dreams.
