Hmm Alex asked me to do this and I made a quick draft before I left. If that can be used in anyway please tell me.

This is your project, guys. Zebrah already set up a draft, so I suggest that u start from there and create a comprehensive DVA article including a description about what the DVA is, it's goals, it's reason for establishing, it's targeted audience, it's staff and professors, it's generally offered courses, it's scheduled upcoming courses, it's course structures (IRC, etc), reviews from previous students and all other things a newbie might want to know when first-time seeing the word "DVA".

Get it on, I'm counting on you on this.

In an effort to help a greater number of lucid dreamers in-training, The Dreamviews Academy was established as a replacement to the adoption program. Our mission is to educate those like you, who may be new to the subject of lucid dreaming, to help you reach a better understanding of what it is, how to achieve it, and to hopefully prolong and control them (dreams).

The DreamViews Academy is a free online lucid dreaming school, hosted on the DreamViews forum. Students will get lessons from experienced teaching staff and the backing of the entire community.

Classes are held over DV's Internet Relay Chat (IRC), giving you a real-time learning experience and the advantage of having your questions answered right away. Professors are required to keep all chat logs. So if you can’t attend class, we will be more than happy to provide you with the chat log of the class you missed.

Every teacher is different, so be sure to check out the thread titled "Class Catalog". Inside each class spoiler, you will find information about class; times, dates, materials, and assignments. This is also where you will see classes that are starting up in the future. Each class has a "class ID" for example DILD-1. These are used to identify which teacher you will have.

Sign up is a breeze. Just go to the “Class Catalog” thread. Locate which class(es) you want to take. Then sign up for the classes you want using the “sign up here” link at the bottom of each text block.

Are we sure we want to add the current teacher list? It seems like kind of a pain, since it would have to be updated all the time (can we constantly edit static pages?). Should we, rather, post a link in the static page to a current list of staff that is a post here in these forums?

Ok this is where that idea of teacher's pages can come in. We can link to those pages and have class info there.

Hey glad you liked it Louie. You mentioned the marquee on the review thread. I personally love that idea, but. I do not know if it is possible. I am waiting for a reply from Alex about the page. I can ask him about the marquee when we discuss that.

Yeah, it's actually a pretty simple html code if I remember. I use to practice making websites with code, and I had a marquee on my page. Alex may be able to do something if he likes the idea as well.

Yeah, but I don't think a ticker will be necessary, now that I think about it. They should definitely be updated as time goes by though.
