      DILD-1 Syllabus

      Professor: Puffin

      Summary

      Hello dreamers!

This course is designed to teach you about the basics of the DILD, or dream induced lucid dream, method. I will be your teacher for three classes that focus mainly on awareness, and why it's important in successfully having a lucid dream. We'll also discuss the initial surge of excitement lucid dreams can produce, and how to combat it. Finally, you'll learn about two different dream control methods, and with the information given you'll be able to determine which one suits you best!

      Requirements

      - You should be keeping a dream journal and have decent dream recall.

      Class Overview

There will be classes on the dates below, each held in the Dreamviews IRC chat. All times are in -6 GMT, so be sure to adjust your timetable accordingly (click here for a time zone converter). Each class will have an estimated time of 45 minutes but may go on a bit longer, so be prepared.

      Grading

There's no set grading system for this course, but as long as you attend all three sessions and provide input, you'll pass.

      Other Information

      - Feel free to ask questions any time during the lectures! But keep in mind I have limited time to teach in each session, so important topics will be covered first.

      - A maximum of ten students can enroll in this course, I'm not sure I can take much more than that!

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
