Shutter Island?

***WARNING SPOILERS*** This is a great movie and if you haven't seen it trust me don't read this thread it will ruin the entire movie for you. ***SPOILER ALERT*** Okay so at the end of the movie you find out that the protaganist has been crazy the whole time and that you have been living in his head the whole movie. And that everybody has just been playing along in a last attempt to save him from being brainwashed. If you play back the movie you will now notice how everyone is acting around him, when he is asking the crazy people questions they all answer like they are being told what to say. The protaganist even points this out. So at the end he relises he was crazy but he pretends he is crazy because he would rather die a hero than a monster. But at the end doesn't this movie have an effect on you... You think of crazy people in a different way, hell what if you are crazy and don't know it. I felt crazy at the end of the movie because i thought the movie was real the whole time. I was even stubborn to except it until he finally remembered killing his wife. What did you guys think of this movie, i loved it.

I enjoyed it, although for some people the twist would've been an easy guess. I like the philosophical bit at the end, when he asked his partner if it'd be better to die a hero or live a monster. He really didn't forget, but he wanted to die because he couldn't live with it.

It was an amazing movie. The Englishman's accent was so soothing throughout the movie (Ben Kingsley)

Yeah I thought it was really good. They did a really good job with actually providing an entirely logical alternative to him being crazy (the pills, testing facility, etc.). I was hasty to accept the end conclusion as well, they really blurred the line of reality.
