I was able to stay still after waking from a dream after the third day of trying. Got into SP, but my excitement knocked me out. After that, I've been trying for an additional 10 days but can't seem to stay still after waking???? Don't know what's going on. I think I need to take a break and then try again.

I think the whole yoga thing, other than being hilarious, is a fine example of mythology. The best Sanskrit dictionaries are now available online, has anyone tried to translate them for themselves? Anyone look up the fact and fiction of Patanjali? If one is lucky, some ebooks I made into Help File ebooks on Sanskrit Grammar might still be found out there somewhere.

I actually get chills when people talk about Yoga. I actually did a lot of research and translation of the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali. Did you know that he was not a mystic, but a Sanskrit scholar dead set against mysticism--it seems that for now his opponents won the war--by mistranslating his own work.

excuse me, debunked? Yes, it gets debunked every other week.. The calendar which supposedly is the source of the prophecy is by all accounts based on the axial precession of the earth, a cycle which has none of the effects the 2012 crackpots claim it has.

Doomsday prophesies always are about making a buck off of people's fears, but none, obviously, have ever come to fruition.

But it doesn't matter whether it happened or will happen because there's nothing to happen! Any point considered as the beginning or end for the cycle is just an arbitrarily chosen position. Like the Earth's movement along it's orbit, there's nothing particularly special about the position it occupies on January 1st, for us it may be a new year but for the Earth and Sun it's just another day.

Yeah, basically. Our calender ends every year on December 31st, but people don't freak out.

People freak out everyday. Every day is good for transformation. We will see, won't we? We are seeing right now, aren't we? Things like equinoxes, solstices, etc. are not just arbitrary man-made events, but actual astronomical events. This is one of the differences between many ancient calendars and the modern Gregorian calendar, which is basically just a measurement device, as opposed to a map of time. These ancient calendars from different cultures from different parts of the planet back each other up. But people cannot let go of the whole "doomsday" thing. This is a human fear that is habitually projected onto an event in the future that has nothing to do with what is really happening. But what is really happening is change. Rapid change. That is all. That is all that anyone knows at this point.

There is so much more that can be said about 2012. The Mayans considered it the ending of an age, and the beginning of a new one. It's been said that the lack of descriptions by the Mayans of what this new cycle will be like, is because they believed that things change so much in this new cycle it's unpredictable. Even scientists agree that the future is unpredictable. No one in 1900 could accurately predict the year 2000. So much changed in just 100 hundred years. The rate of change has been exponential. This has led many scientists to agree that no one today has any idea what 2100 will be like. (I repeat, NO ONE) There are many ways you can approach 2012. You can study what the Mayans actually believe, and Mayans are still alive today. The Hopi elders have come out in the open and admitted that they are Mayan descent and they were given Mayan secrets, to keep secret from the White men who were destroying their culture. These Hopi elders have done their job to keep the Mayan history safe, a history that might have been lost if at the hands of conquistadors. Another way that you can look at 2012 is through very strange science. Not too long ago it was discovered that the human brain has magnetic particles, not unlike whales and birds that depend on the Earth's EM field to navigate. This suggests that the earth's EM field affects our brain as it does so many animals. Other studies have shown that the EM field also effects our emotions and sanity (increase in crime rates and suicide). Though I can't remember if a spike up is good or bad Does this alignment physically effect the EM field? I don't know. But considering the delicate balance between all the forces in our cosmos, it would be impossible for there to be no measurable change. If the EM field changes in a way, then our brains are directly changed. One thing that people need to remember is that this is a cycle that happens apx. every 25,000 years. In the early 1900s, they began the theory for what would become telephones, transistors, televisions, cars, everything like that. While there were no things like it, the theory was there. That's how it's been working. As for the Mayan calendar, as my article said, it's been suggested that we either already passed that date or won't for a few decades. 2012 is just another fluff day and nothing different will happen.

The Mayan calendar restarts in 2012. How can you say this is unimportant? Personally my calendar restarts on the 31st of December in a couple of months, and I'm shitting bricks about what might happen. It's the rebirth of an utterly new cycle. Who knows what puppy breeds I will see pictures of next year? In fact, maybe this year the calendar I get at Christmas will have a totally different animal theme? We're talking about total unknowns here; a revolution in the human psyche.

Let me stop you right there. First, no, an alignment wouldn't be special. Second, there's no alignment involved. This happens: It is always happening, it doesn't have a beginning or an end.
