No you don't. I don't get why people think reading Harry Potter makes you a nerd. Whoever started that trend needs an ego check.

ANYWAY, the last book I read; Gossamer by Lois Lowry. She. Is. A. GENUIS. This book was increbily thought out. Littlest One was so adorable. I recommend it highly. (I'm actualy going to make a thread about it in the Dreaming sections.)

I'm now in the prossess of rereading The Giver trilogy for the 10th time or so.

Finally finished Crime and Punishment a couple of weeks ago. It was a little dry and i felt like it kind of started to unravel a towards the last few chapters just a little bit, but all in all it was definitely an enjoyable read.

Then there were none... - Agatha Cristie

An amazing book! Started out sort of confusing, but once they got to the mansion things started getting easier to read and understand.

I love books like that where there are only like 10 people stranded someplace and one of them is killing each other off and they try to find out who it is.

Can anyone recommened me books like that?

      The Golden Compass..
And now I'm working on the second one, The Subtle Knife.

His Dark Materials is a really good series.

The Riddles of Epsilon, by Christine Morton-Shaw. I still have a couple of chapters to finish, but I already read it a while ago, so I know what happens. It combines time travel and a bit of a religious theme (not really christian, though)

Japanese: The Manga Way. It's a book I just bought from Borders because I was sick of rechecking it from the library. It's on learning to read kana and hiragana, as well as sentence structure and common words and grammar forms.

Just finished Time's Eye by Arthur C. Clarke. Until I get the other two in the series, I'm going to be starting Childhood's End, by the same.

A friend of mine read all of the Breaking Dawn and Eclipse Series (Can't remember the names of the other ones...) I know its basically a vampire love story, but he liked them, and i'm comfortable with my manliness. Should I read them?

      The Interlopers (Short Story)

It was interesting. Although, the literature book I was reading gave away the ending. It had this huge picture of a wolf. I wanted to punch someone.
