Haha... I think you've said that just for the sake of controversy.

      Spoiler for Indiana Jones 4:

All in all, it's worth going to see, even if it's just to laugh at all the ridiculously impossible parts.

I thought it was terrible, and I won't be seeing it again. /spit

I just watched the trilogy today with 2 people who'd never seen it before, and I love Temple of Doom so many miles more than Crystal Skull it's hard to quantify into words. This film shouldn't have been made.

Meh it wasn't supposed to be good.

The whole point of the movie was to give Indy a son to continue the Franchise off of.

yeah, they could have made indy maybe... slightly less indestructible perhaps?

but it was entertaining, which I guess is the whole point of going to a movie, right?

I liked it, it wasnt as good as raiders or the last crusade, but i think it was better than Temple. Thing is if you go to the movie expecting it to be as good as the others then you will be disappointed. This is a new era of filmmaking and most people have a adjusted to it, but when you resurrect an living legend of old people will be critiquing it.

But I thought the movie was great, I saw it 3 times. Opening premier with buds. Two days later with my dad. Then I went with my gf.

It was okay, I guess. The only reason it was so succesful was because of all the hype thanks to the previous movies.

It was a nice movie, but nothing outstanding.

And I didn't like that they used the cliché image of (highlight to reveal spoiler)'Aliens and UFOs' at the end.

Actually, on average, I think the fans of the first three like the fourth less than people who don't really care about the first three.

I miss the old stunt work, but the new movie has incredible CGI scenes that made me squirm in my seat. I actually liked the movie, other than the cliche acting and plot (but thats no surprise for the franchise obviously)

This movie sucks. It's taking me days to watch it, and I'm only doing so because I'm stuck in Korea. It really sucks ass, imo. Aside from the obvious, there's something weird about Indy's acting. Seems like he got worse.

One of the worst movies of the year...

The dialouge tasted like spoiled milk, the action scenes smelled like rotting fish, the characters where so forced that it was like watching the authors try and push a pineapple through a colander.

Way to jump the shark. In fact, I think it jumped over about 10...

Totally agree there, although I think it's partly due to bad dialogue.

      HUGE disappointment.

I mean, come on: We all loved some of the fantastical elements that were in the other Indiana Jones movies (surviving the cutting of the rope bridge, in ToD, for instance) but some of the shit they tried to pull off, in this film, should never have been attempted by veteran film-makers. Ever.

To say nothing of the fridge; how about when our little Greaser friend, Shia, is swinging through the fucking jungle like Tarzan, practically flying from vine to vine. What, does he practice vine-swinging in his spare time, between working on his bike and having a chocolate malt down at the malt shoppe? Come on.

Yeah, I agree with that as well. And the three waterfalls thing.. with everyone being completely fine.. even the mostly immobile crazy old guy.

And the 'Jonesy!' character as well as the Russian chick were about as flat as a halibut gone through a... thing that makes you flat.

Honestly, characters where as unbelievable as... something that really couldn't be believed.
