I really liked the end of FFVII at the time. I can't really remember it, now, because it's been forever since I've played it. But, I can honestly say that the ending that impacted me the most out of any game was the ending of Shadow of the Colossus. ...I wanted to shoot myself.

I really liked the end of FFVII at the time. I can't really remember it, now, because it's been forever since I've played it. The ending is just... beautiful and well crafted :] Hideo Kojima I salute you!! only problem is that they tend to drag on a bit....don't get me wrong, I totally respect the MGS series, and I have played all of them, but yeah, it's easy to get impatient with them....MGS4 def had the most epic of the endings. It's all about the soundtrack, when you think about it.

True, but that's not the point. The point is that I deserve THE most epic ending from them. Anyone who sees it shouldn't be able to say, "You know what would have made the end of Half Life 2 Episode 3 better?" Even after thinking about how they could make it better for a lifetime. That's the epicness I demand. Fuck you, Valve. It's your own damned fault I have this love-hate relationship with you.

The details from the last boss fight and credits in Portal made for a good ending, but you have to admit that the last thing you see from Chell's perspective is kinda... meh. But anyway, Portal or maybe Spore's Steve scene(its kinda the end of the main plot, right?) Yes, I know I play games with comparatively bad endings.
