A lot of people are going to explain about the canon, and which mutants were actually in the original class (comics), but I think this has potential. Can't be any worse than X-3.

Some of the CG looks great but some of it also looks absolutely terrible. If it gets decent reviews, I'll probably see it.

Great Fox....take a time tested story, and just put it together anyway you like it. Everything is there for them it into a movie...the very fact that it's going to be in theaters will make the story refreshing because no one has seen it on that medium. They had the option take the 616 x-men, or the ultimate x-men storyline, but NOOOOOOOO instead they just want to use random characters at different times. It's even messed up for the movie goers who've never read a single comic, because they're using Emma Frost in this one and she was already used in origins.

Now for the positive part. It's an X-men movie, and it looks entertaining. I like that they decided to use the retro outfits, and the black-hawk for the X Jet. There's a 99.9% chance I'm still going to watch it on opening night, but I'm going to make sure I tell myself "this crap isn't going to be anything like what I've read".


Edit: And was that Pixie? Really now....they should have just put Psylocke in it, or made Scarlet Witch good and threw her in a blue and yellow outfit.

Marvel has been making a lot of movies recently, and quite frankly they've been casting some pretty poor actors... I'm just worried the quality of their films are starting to go downhill. Hopefully X-Men proves me wrong.

It's because Fox still has the rights to X-men, and Sony Still has the rights to Spider-man. You really can't blame Marvel for any of those movies in those series other than "why the eff did you guys sell your movie making rights".

While they're at it, they should make Dr. Strange the leader and have Pixie, Jubilee, and Dazzler as the main team, and make them just spray sparkles throughout the entire movie. And just when the credits roll have the screen say "Dear audience: we already have your money. Love, Fox".

I have no marvel movie news because the future is going to be pretty busy for Marvel Movies. I'll be posting here periodically with new news that I come across on their upcoming projects, and the interweaving of said projects into the Avengers movie.

I cannot wait for the Spiderman reboot! The old series was getting really stale. And I think I'm in the minority here, but the first one was my favorite because of the whole high school aspect. The second one was ok, but lacking the charm of the original, and then the third one was just embarrassing. Plus Andrew Garfield was great in The Social Network and I think he's the perfect choice for the role.

Also, the new costume looks LEGIT.

^ I didn't have very high expectations for a Captain America movie but I'm looking forward to it now. The costume seems a little odd in a live action film though.

You know, I wasn't sure what to expect either, but I love the fact that it's a "period" film and they've drummed up a great looking version of the past. I'm sold.

Thor preview was showing during the NBA playoffs, and Captain America preview was showing before Sucker Punch. After watching the Thor preview again, I kinda feel a little bit better about it....I'll probably be seeing it in theaters the Thursday it comes out, or that Friday after my exam. *Coughs* I think Marvel vs. Capcom 3 pushed my influence as well.

I agree 100 percent I cant wait for the new one, I just hope they dont make Peter Parker wear makeup again sigh.

I thought the second was the best, then the first. I didn't make eye contact with anyone after leaving the theatre for the third movie... xD

Couldn't have said it better, myself.

Captain America looks pretty badass, Chris Evans got jacked as hellllllll. Thor looks like shit though

^ To be honest, I don't think a live action Thor movie will ever work as well as it would if it was done like Avatar. That's just me though.

I saw the trailer and thought it looked kind of silly. Either that, or the combination of costumes, etc was just too unrealistic to actually look "real", if you know what I mean. At least they're trying though.

^ Exactly. I don't think I'd be able to watch it without cringing a couple times. That being said, I too am glad that some lesser known Marvel heroes are getting screen time; I hope they do a Deadpool flick soon.

Anyways, Thor is standing at 95% on RT, with 38 positive reviews and 2 negative... I'm surprised it's getting such a high rating!
