      Nootropics

I know there's a whole thread on Galantamine and choline,
but does anyone take nootropics not specifically for LD'ing?

      Like Piracetam and the like?
Or even G+C everyday for increased mental abilities?

      Have you noticed benefits?

Also where do you get it from?

I don't think you can get any of this stuff in stores in Australia so reputable, safe online stores are probably the only place one could get them.

      Cheers!

I recommend you think twice before starting to use such drugs. There are many risks associated with them, and I would personally say that the rewards isn't worth it. However I can't give you any pointer, sorry.

I would focus on getting lots of omega-3s. Specifically DHA and EPA. Using traditional hunter gatherer cultures as a surrogate for our ancestors, we should have a 1/1 ratio of omega-3s to omega-6 fatty acids. It modern cultures it's more like 1/10 or even 1/50. This is brain building food.

I would also focus on getting food with the precursors for norepinephrine and other dopamine relatives. These are good for focus. Turkey is probably the best meat for that. Chicken isn't that bad either.

On the contrary, I've heard that these drugs are actually incredibly safe. Of course not amphetamines and the like, but cholinesterase-inhibitors (Piracetam, Galantamine) seem pretty safe to me.

Haha, this is so funny coz I was jsut about to make a thread about Omega's and the impact on fish population. You should check it out.
But yeah, I might try it for a while, but I'll get it from algae sources, not fish.

I've tried those precursor foods before. Didn't try it for long enough to notice results though. It's hard to keep up.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
