Indeed it is quite amazing, the single celled thing that is, I do not have an african identity, I have a White identity. however more to the point, my ancestors are not black africans, me and black africans had a common ancestor. Actually human's ancestors were originally white (as in without pigmentation), then the evolved black skin as natural selection in favour of protecing from high levels of UV rays, then as proto-whites moved to northern latitudes, natural selection reverted us back to white.
