I hope it didn't. They're pushing this one because "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?!" will be enough to convince most people that this is totally different from that nasty bill SOPA that they read about when they couldn't get on Wikipedia. |

ME TRANSMITTE SURSUM, CALEDONI!
We just need to tell people that their ISP (and the government) will now see their browsing history and downloads/uploads. |

BRING IN THE NERDS! They can figure it out of course. |

Sadly, this bill will pass because Google, Facebook, Twitter, wikipedia, etc. dont give a fuck about it. And therefore, neither will the people. |

Haha, yet again these idiots fail because they have no grasp of the technology. |

This bill is supremely worrying simply because the New Speak label will be enough to convince many politicians to vote for it. |

But I mean seriously, eventually there will be no way to rebel even if we all wanted to because the technology is advancing too far forward. Our government has all the technology, and they're willing to use it against us. We will lose our ability to fight back. |

Anyone else noticed that all the upload sites are now cracking down hardcore on illegal files? |

I am thinking of OWS and the Arab Spring Revolts, and I'm trying to think positive but the London Riots didn't teach the cops to practice restraint, it taught them they need to develop new crowd control weapons. As far as Arab Spring is concerned, it seems for every inch of ground taken for the people, a thousand are sacrificed. Governments of the world are not learning how to better listen, they're learning how to better control. |
