Kind of like this image above, every moment we experience is like a picture. Inside of that picture is another two pictures: a mental image of what the next moment will look like and another mental image of what the previous moment looked like. As our mind peers further into the mental image of the next moment we see again two images! One of what the next moment will look like and one of what the last moment looks like.

In this way all our life happens as one picture...within a picture within a picture within a picture.

That image of the eternal "frames" reminds me of my Avatar.

Yes, it explains the idea that everything happens at once but it still has its issues.

For example it doesn't explain the forward motion, or why people (supposedly) don't go backwards. Maybe though, forward motion is just an element drawn into the picture the same way an apple or a bird can be drawn into a picture. Ideas like time are drawn in the same way objects like birds are.

Where it gets strange is memory. It could be that there is an observer with an ever increasing memory bank as they scan the image. Or again all our memories are an idea drawn into the current frame

Wow, the penny dropped just now as I was chanting:

"Dear future me*

Please give me a dream tonight
Thats happy uplifting and wow.

Make it about somthing wonderful happening
one year from now."

At the pdc where SHAZAM died the target turned out to be a fountain and a star-gate in a park.

I found the 2 photos that EdK uploqded of his beloved doggy, SHAZAM. Shazam died during the 2010 precognitive remote viewing competition.

His horse was housed in a swanky stable at a posh race track.*** End of pdc competition, dream.

SHAZAM, EDK's beloved dog, died during the 2010 pdc.

The target at the NEXT year's pdc was [that race horse[/b] with the number 8 saddle cloth.

Oh My God. Now I'm asking future me to do that MAGIC over and over most every night.

Seriously, I just woke up to what happened. I never put 2+2 together before, till just now.*

Its like "future me" played that joke on me back then ▪(2010). (Future me gave me the next year's target, "the race horse at a swanky stable")

and

now is asking me to unite with future me. Merge with future me. Become One with future me.*

As if it might be possible for past, present and future me to become one being.

Didn't remember any dream from last night but I will go again tonight with the chant:

"Future Me

Please give me a dream

I think my future self, gave me the horse dream, for the next year's pdc competition (that was 12 months away, at the next pdc).

And your "Modle of Time" artwork conveys how that happened.

Now I'll finish looking for that other dream about me not being able to lucid dream and why that might be ok. So I can post in Gaea's thread called:

Reminds me of how animation is made. One picture at a time. But unlike traditional animation our minds can record things somewhat like cameras put to record. Except our brains are obviously better than cameras.

I think cmind is most likely to come back and read his comment and think "wtf?". Because he couldn't understand a thing at first.Anyways, even if you don't get rich its good to think out of the box at times.

Interesting topic. I think separating the concept of mind from the concept of awareness might be useful to gain more insight into this subject.

I don't know if what you are saying is true, nor do i believe you to know. But i like what I heard. Interesting food for thought, kind of reminds me of something I learned from a first semester comp sci class regarding arraylists in java. Every node has a pointer to a next node and a previous node, to make the whole thing work there is a starter node and an end node (something to this effect, very far removed from compsci I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but a very layman definition similar to this description of time). In this analogy, where are our starter and ender nodes? Birth and death?
