I definitely see where you're coming from with this, but I'm not sure I agree completely and I have sort of a question. As far as I understand, you're telling us that we should cut ourselves off from TV/news and other similar media because they're usually just negative information that doesn't have anything to do with us directly. I couldn't agree more, but only for some types of news/information.

Isn't it information and culture that has brought you to these conclusions? Aren't the videos you link us to a form of news? You seem to care about the environment, but how did you learn about this cause if not through some media?

If I sound hostile, please excuse me. I'm not here to shoot anyone down, but the message seems a bit contradictory to me. If I have misinterpreted, please explain.

SolSkye I think it goes without saying that I agree with everything you've said 100%. You steal the thoughts and words from my mouth with each new thread you create.

No you don't sound hostile, it's a legitimate question.

As I said in the original post,
"Don't get me wrong, I don't think there is anything wrong with stumbling across so-called "news" every now and then, but I truly feel that unless we EYE-witness it with our perceiving eyes of the universe, it's honestly not worth the time we give it... let alone choosing to believe in it as real. There is no valid excuse to believe anything tertiary as real. Chances are, if you haven't directly experienced it, it won't help better you anyway."

I don't think it's wrong to watch third-party information just not worth believing in as real. Why blindly believe it? Did you experience it first hand? Why give up your power on essentially someone else's pre-conceived notion, and pre-packaged negative model of life? What does allowing that kind of negativity into your life ever do to better it, and others? Did you know that after Al Gore's, "An Inconvenient Hunch", hit mass audiences, it actually started getting hotter, faster than before? It's not always a good idea to get people's intention backing a phenomenon which we may have caused from going on a downward spiral of communal thought in the first place. After all is said and done, it seems we are going back down on a cooling kick.

      SOURCE
The ∆T for the past 12 months is minus 0.595°C which is in line with other respected global temperature metrics that I have reported on in the past two weeks. RSS, UAH, and GISS global temperature sets all show sharp drops in the last year. We are in an extended solar minimum, we have a shift in the Pacific Decadal Oscillation to a cold state, and we are seeing arctic ice extents setting new records and rebounding from the summer melt. While weather is defined as such variability, the fact that so many things are in agreement on a global scale in such a short time span of one year should give us all pause for consideration.

Anyway, the only reason the media is filled with negativity is negative stories sell, and positive ones don't. They don't care that it paints a future devoid of hope. The bleak future they paint hits the eyes and ears of millions and millions of people across the world each day, literally getting millions of people's intention and belief behind it, all fearing that the future is bleak until they actually begin to manifest those thoughts into reality.

I would argue that the masses blind-sighted nature and projection of their fears and problems outwardly is what empowers those thoughts to manifest themselves in the blood-letting of wars, for example. It's a way of communally releasing pent up lower emotion. It's horrible, but until we accept ourselves and face our fears for the illusions that they are, and see our true nature we will forever be doomed to repeat it.

In tribal societies people used to sacrifice an individual, because the community could then pour all their ills into one being which got rid of their problems for them. Every culture on earth still does the same thing. We dump our garbage out on others... That's the way of the world.

Stuck in self-deprecation won't do anything to change our nature... The only thing that changes it is leading by example. Leading the life you want for others... one of peace and understanding... hatred and fear just beget themselves... always...

The real reason I enjoy the ouroboros in my signature as a symbol is because it clearly makes visible the true nature of reality, that being one of a contradiction at all times. It shows the cyclical nature of time and the universe, that through entropy devourers itself to continually make a more complex novel version of itself. That cycle of death and rebirth of all things, even though no energy is ever created or destroyed. That unexplainable eternal moment that we all agreeably share our finite blips in, and inevitably return to.

As for our intent, I always say, "Every intent that is expressed, is lost in it's own expression." Another contradiction.

Our subjective experience here is our only reality... We can never jump outside or separate ourselves from our subjective perceiving self. The objective perspective is the intangible of the two. Objective truth would also fall into that objective perspective alongside one's experience of it, which cannot ever be expressed without returning to the subjective perspective and all the skewed bias' of culture and language, and all the intents that come with it.

You simply cannot separate one's subjective experience from the objective moment for even a heartbeat. And, therein lies the paradox. The objective moment or truth cannot ever be expressed between two individuals. They both view it differently through the flawed lenses of their perceiving subjective eyes. You cannot ever show me 10 minutes ago as you saw it, you can only recall it, and even then the memory of it grows blurrier by the moment.

No matter how verbose and eloquently put, one simply cannot adequately explain this very moment as they read back this sentence. It is as intangible as infinity, because we exist here in infinity as infinity, realizing ourselves forever independently dependent on each other as the fractalized perceiving asymptotic tendrils of the universe.

I beg someone to show me how this intangible objective truth and reality can be grasped and hold true for all perceiving eyes and minds once you decide to jump back to the discourse of the duality, because I fail to see it being possible.

The way I look at it, is at any moment you are always inevitably biting your own tail. Truth and the moment simply cannot be explained, to anyone... ever...

As the awareness of one's lack of knowledge goes up exponentially as they acquire knowledge they will eventually reach the asymptotic realization of the fact that true knowledge does not exist. So, in fact, what they were striving for wasn't ever there, only perceived as being there. Just another contradiction... in a sea of contradiction.

So that leads me back to my original point, why must one search out and blindly believe these unverified and out-sourced "information" without first EYE-witness verification one way, or the other?

Where and why does one make that leap of faith to believe in something tertiary enough to start to fear something they haven't even directly seen or experienced?

What does our "knowing" of it do for us in the moment? When that's all there ever was, is, and ever will be?

One, on the positive slant can shift the other tendrils of itself up the positive slant with it, or they can drag them down the negative spiral as well...

      Your choice...

sigh - I knew about the 'secret' for about a year. and I did believe it. but I didn't practice it or take it seriously until my family and I were in such a bad financial shape that in a few weeks we could have been out on the streets

this was happening about last. . .november.

what had happened, or what has beeeeen happening is that every car we get DIES. JUST DIES. Except for my mother's car. But it was very old. Its a long story but my family was convinced we had some car hex on us. Some blamed my mom because she was the one who bought all the cars that died on us. Some blamed my sister because they were all for her, or at least crashed by her in one case.

I had just gotten a job, and I need it to pay my loans. The family car, mostly owned by my sister breaks down. My ability to go to work is threatened. My sisters ability to continue her education, her future was threatened. My dad's ability to go to work was threatened, and he pays the bills. And my moms car, was breaking down because its old.

So my mom was driving me home from work, and I was really stressing out almost in tears because I knew, without this job I could never move forward in life. (can't buy art supplies, can't see friends who live in another city, can't move out!)

My mom starts talking about buying another car from her friend for cheap. It will be for my older sister to continue education. As for me. I would have to stay home. Do nothing.

And I had ENOUGH. I mean I can't even accurately describe the emotions I was going through, enough was ENOUGH. And I told my mom "IM GOING TO BUY A NEW CAR" she told me that wasn't possible with my income.

She just shook her head and thought I was in some juvenile denial of the situation we were in. I got online, researched new cars. I saw one that I thought would be affordable. My heart starts to race and I see the image of the car online and I just say "Thats my car!"

I wasn't even saying or thinking "I want that to be my car." I was literally saying and thinking that it was mine. MINE. MINE. MINE.

The next day I beg mom to take me to the car dealer. She goes along, still thinking I was going to be disappointed when all I can afford is some crappy old car.

The first thing that amazed me was how understanding the dealers were. They told me straight out that normally with my income level, with my parents credit history, with my age *under 25* this type of new car with all the normal features - AC, automatic would normally be out of my league. I told him I would not take any less than that new car, he smiles and works with us. The whole team was backing us up.

They start getting phone calls from the banks and their loans. Judging by his facial expression it seemed he was getting ready to lay down the bad news, that we would not be accepted for the loan. When we came back to speak with him that day, he had a very surprised look on his face. Not only did a bank offer us the loan, but more than one offered us a loan. Which gave us leverage for the best deal.

That day I walked out with a new car. My mom was shocked. I was shocked.

I get home, neither my sister or my dad congratulate me. I told them, "I got a new car!" and the words "new" and "car" didn't register to almost three days later. When they finally began to ask, how the hell did the youngest family member with the lowest income of all buy a new car.

After I got the new car, I realized I did exactly what the movie described. There wasn't any doubt that night that the car wasn't mine.

My dad still thinks of the worst of the worst of the worst. And for the first few days he kept telling me that I had to prepare for the worst: My car breaking down and that I would have to spend a night sleeping on the streets *because for whatever earthly reason neither my mom, her best friend, my uncles or aunts could pick me up because everyone might as well drop dead in this horrible of all situations!!*. I was flabbergasted and told him I didn't need any of his negative thoughts.

You keep your bad juju over there and Ill have my good ones right here.

I felt like something was lifted from me when I got my new car, with its shiny ten year warranty. I started to see how every day, every hour all of my family members were negative people. Always anticipating something to go wrong in their life.

I started to practice thought manifestation some more. Though I admittingly stopped when larger things started to manifest. I became afraid the more I realized what thought manifestation really means.

I should really pick it up again. Amazing opportunities were happening that I willingly walked away from, because I dreamed them up.

A belief is like a blueprint. It is the plan or pattern to which all the materials needed to flesh it out are drawn. The architect is you. All vibrations are self-perpetuating. Your beliefs are self-perpetuating. An optimist will see the positive and create those circumstances, while a pessimist will naturally vibrate with a critical viewpoint and see the negative in every situation. Two people can be standing right next to each other and experience a completely different reality depending on their beliefs, emotions, and thoughts.

To partake of a higher ideal often requires sacrificing the lesser option.

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” -Albert Einstein

"Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens." -Carl Jung

"Every portion of the universe is contained in every tiny area of the universe." -Michael Talbot

“If you want to understand the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” - Nikola Tesla

“Do you remember how electrical currents and "unseen waves" were laughed at? The knowledge about man is still in its infancy.” - Albert Einstein
