List the information and resources pertaining to these groups. I'd like to visit them and find out more. Oh and guys? I wouldn't mock ranma if I were you...that bitch Palin already said in an interview that if Russia goes even further then it might be a good idea for the US to go to war with them. So I wouldn't be surprised if another war does break out within the next few years. Btw ranma...should the borders of Canada, the US, and Mexico get erased like all three governments are currently pushing for...you're screwed too. |

Things are not as they seem

People are all like "OMG WTF BBQ WURLDZ GONNA END FOOLz!1!1!" every few years. So. I hope you are still around after 3 years, when this economic depression is cleared up again. So we can all laugh at you. |

wow neruo. . just. . .wow. you think this is a fluctuation? WOW, I don't even know what to say. |

Oh no! Teh wurldz gunna endz!!! Like in 1896. And like in 1929. Actually, that were proper recessions. What we have now is when it comes to actual drop in share-levels not even as bad as after the internet bubble. It probably will become worse, but the economy isn't going to fall apart, you bunch of doom-thinking retards. |

Yes. It's logic. If things get bad, then the world doesn't end, it's a fluctuation. If things get bad, and keep escalating, and the world ends... then that's not really a fluctuation, is it? I don't see how there can be anything else other than these two options. Sure, a fluctuation could be pretty damn big, even bigger than anything we've experienced before - but if it doesn't result in our extinction, then it's still just a fluctuation. |

Like it or not, but the way our economical system works there are periods of economic downfall about once every ten years. Sometimes that might look pretty cataclysmic when it is happening, but if looked at the big picture of the last 150 years of economy, it's pretty normal. It are normal fluctuation in the steadily rising line of economical growth. |

no, you don't. because your logic is dualistic. come out of dualistic logic. the world is not either black or white. the future is not either black or white. |
|
Whoever thinks the market is having a slight fluctation should just stop following the markets, because they don't SLIGHTY understand what the hell is going on right now. |

Ok first of all, the OP was vague as hell, just "incoming doom, watch out". |
|
People should see the Penn&Teller episode about these dooms-day-thinkers, about how the world will be trown into choas 'next year'. (And if it is not 'next year', it's 'next year!'. Or the year after that. Or after that. Or after that. Or after that.) |

You know, if people want to give in so easily to conspiracy theories, and scare tactics, so be it. |
|
This argument is fallacious, which is surprising for you. You are suggesting that because something is not a common occurence, that it simply will not happen, and to top it off, you are generalizing all these people into a group of "retards". Not every survivalist believes the moon will crash into the sea this summer. I am a "woods survivalist" myself, and don't believe in many of these theories. |

Reguardless of what happens, its always good to prepare for the worst, aka have survival skills...it can't hurt to be ready when something happens such as: |
