There will always be someone opposed to it. |

Oh yes, and Exhalent, you can't just say that you're transgendered to give a criminal a more harsh punishment. You have to be able to prove that they committed a crime in the first place because of your gender identity/sexual orientation. |

You called Merlock 'Demon' and then you go and post a Red Hot Chili Peppers song? |
|
Now the whole world stands on the brink, staring down into bloody hell, all those liberals and intellectuals and smooth-talkers...
We should have done this as men. Not with fire.
Careful there! |

So you're basically saying that conflict is fine as long as there's a good reason, but people shouldn't have to tell anyone what that good reason is. Then they might as well not have a good reason. |

I thought you meant about medical people thinking it of a mental disorder. I thought seemed a bit dumb for them to think of such a thing as transgender to be thought of a mental disorder. Ludacris I tells yah! |

Where did this come from? What I was saying is that these new laws in effect can be abused. My point is, no special groups should ever be covered in said "hate crime" laws, because by law they are already equal to everyone else. It just disrupts the system and causes overcomplication. |

I was too lazy to read this but I think it's about something similar to what you guys are talking about. Enjoy! |

Why can't I dislike a person that is gay/trans, but for reasons other than that? The jury doesn't have to take my word for it. Just like if a white and a black person fought (respectively), it would be hate crime even if race had nothing to do with it. I still see no legitimate reason for laws like these since everyone is already covered, otherwise I would change my mind. |

ha ha, I just want to say for all the people that are scared of the opposite sex bathrooms....from where I am from a bathroom is a bathroom regardless of what gender is posted on the door....if it is open anyone can use any washroom...some places here have one bathroom for both sexes...gosh whoda thought! I do find it ridiculous that transgendered seem to think they need a washroom of their own though |

I agree with Merlock that he doesn't have to explain his feelings about anything. His feelings are still valid. |
