Yes people should fuck more. maybe there would be less war.

Human bodies are designed to have sex for pleasure, all month long and all seasons. and why isn't that not everyone is getting the sex that they like?

No, actually, they are not greatly exaggerated. Need I stress that your own personal experiences don't apply to everyone else? I thought you people worshiped science as if it were some sort of religion; doesn't science say that using personal experiences is a terrible way to back up an argument?

This. It's a wee bit sad, in my eyes, how so many of you consider sex to be like...the greatest thing in the world. Apparently many of you are rather boring people, if you don't have hobbies that give you satisfaction equal to or greater than sex.

Ok, how about the hard evidence that less than 10% of the population has an std of any kind, most can be treated with penicillin and condoms are 99% effective? Or that students who have abstinaence-only sex education are 30% more likely to get an std than those who have real sex education?

The urge for sex is an extremely powerful force in the lives of most people. The more people are able satisfy themselves sexually, the more I believe people will be more "chilled-out". Also, I'd think most of the people here would like to have satisfying hobbies and also satisfying sex. Not just one or the other.

Because sex is a very fundamental drive in the human psyche (especially for males). And because sex sells. It's as simple as that.

Hehe I wish some of those parents of 8 kids would come to that conclusion too.

Well I'd say it's good for men but no good for women. All the sexualization is about women's body parts, so it's pretty boring for us women who're not lesbians. It really annoys me sometimes to play modern games with overly sexual female characters, half-nude and suggestive, damn it I'd prefer half-nude men!

However one effect this sexualization does have on women, too: I don't know very well about others, but I connect only femininity with beauty now. So a typical male appearance now seems coarse and ugly, and feminine men are cool.

I can only hope you're correct. You have alpha males-the jocks, rulers, leaders, politicians, etc. who are total jerks and make off with the best babes, and then there are the beta males-quiet, bookish, intelligent, slightly nerdish individuals that will be totally devoted to their women and love them every step of the way. The beta male trait is entirely genetic.

Note: Here's my theory on how the beta-male dream has existed over time:
In the beginning, there were the cavemen. The big strong alpha-males would go out hunting for mammoths, etc. while the meek beta-males hung around back in the village and slept with the widows of the alpha males that were gored while fighting mammoths. Then came the Romans, and while the alpha males fought the war and killed each other, the beta males stayed home and continued to boink the widows in mourning. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Haha, but yeah, I'm glad to see sex becoming a more open thing in society. I really hate how even in America it's treated as such a taboo. It's the natural order of the world, and we treat it as some sort of mutant, perverted thing. It makes me angry!

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but nerdy guys are not what I meant by "girly men"

Girly men can be alpha males, too. They can go out to party every night, be very loud or foolish, they can hate books, etc. It boils down only to appearance: there are men who look feminine. Some can make themselves look feminine even if they're not natural at that, by haircuts or something else That's quite fashionable now.

And what you described is more about the collision of hobbies and characters. There are a lot of nerdy girls, too, it's just that nergy guys are too nerdy to notice them . But look around the respected universities, for example.

It's true. Sex is the ultimate goal of all life in general. They teach that in biology class. But if you're using birth control that argument doesn't really hold up does it?

And, Mario. I dont agree with your theory. When there were cavemen, the beta males were out there right alongside the alphas. Because if they stayed home they would be ostricized, killed, or beaten into submission by the alphas. Also, the wives/mates of the alphas would not even be attracted to the betas BECAUSE of the fact that they werent going out and hunting etc. Even in rome this was true to some degree. The alphas were not the only ones on the battlefields, the betas were out there too or they would be labeled as weak and ineffecient.
