keep convincing myself im awake

i have a problem whereby when i induce a DILD by pinching my nose then blowing a always convice myself im awake, usually by thinking i pinched my nose wrong. does anyone have any ideas how stop myself doing this?

Try doing multiple RCs, like jumping to change gravity or recalling how you got somewhere (the latter works the best, methinks).

Otherwise, do more RC's. I count fingers, finger through palm, pinch nose. Have a 33% chance of getting one right

Make sure you're really participating in the RC when you do it in waking life. Don't jsut aimlessly count your fingers. Study you hand and fingers as you count. Study the look of your skin, the feel of it. Be tuned in to your counting. Really engage in it. Also, asking "Am I dreaming?" helps too. It's what I do on all 3 of my RC's
