      Half-asleep and half-awake

      Is there a specific term for half-asleep/half-awake-state? In this state you can see both your dream scenery and real life scenery at the same time. You can also hear dream sounds. When this happens you are most likely in bed in the evening before you have fallen asleep or taking a nap. In this state you might be in SP.

      In Finnish this state is called "valveuni". In English it could be "awakesleep" or something like that. I'm interested in finding more information about this so knowing the right term would be good.

      Yeah, I'm quite sure that's the word I'm looking for, thanks. In Finnish there are actually the words "hypnagogia" and "hypnopompic" so the third word ("valveuni") made me a bit confused.
