Dream: Trying to find ice cream in a vending machine in a mall. A bunch of makeup stalls and some mini-clubs to the side. I think some of them were a strip club.

I had a fragment, but I forgot it.

Barely any lucidity at the end, but it was there!

I was in my school roaming around trying to do various things. Probably trying to get to classes. Two celebrities appeared near the end. At the very end, I was in a classroom with my math teacher. Except there was a clone of her. Became slightly lucid at this point. Forgot what happens next.

Total = 3 points

3 points for me for 1/4/11. 2 dreams and 2 fragments.

No, that's right. You got 2 points for 1/1/11 and 4 points for 1/2/11. We go by a point system, not raw number of dreams.

Hmm. If we are quite a few who is competing, then perhaps we should give people points for their dreams. Like the top 3 get more points than usual, and the rest gets points for dreams. Or I dunno.

You're right - everyone participating should get points, to encourage people to record even if they have 0. Maybe .5 points for everyone who participates, and then the 1-5 would be added to that .5 for the 5 top scorers? That way it's pretty much even for all with a small boost for the top 5, so if someone stops recording it won't take long for people even with 1 dream per day to catch up.

screw the .5 bit, its just makes everything confusing, but i think it'd be cool to have 1-5 points awarded for the top 5 dream recalls

Haha that's how it is atm AustralianFire. Perhaps increasing the number of people who gets points?

#2, 3: 4 points
#4, 5: 3 points
#6, 7: 2 points
#8, 9, 10: 1 point

If I would get points for each dream I had, you guys wouldn't stand a chance unless I took a break

wow, i'v got this whole point score thing messed up O.o
i thought we got points for the dreams so lucid=2 points dream=1 point fragment=0.5
and then we all just ad it up together, hehe woops
although i think it could be easier that way

Yeah well, that was for each day. The user with the most points at the end of the day, gets 5 points, second 4 points and so on. We'll find a nice points system that suits everyone.

I like the idea of increasing it to 10 people. But should we give the same points to two people with totally different scores? Like, if 2 had 8 points and 3 had 4 points?

2nd-8 points
3rd- 6 points
4th- 4 points
5th- 3 points
6th-2 points
7th-1 point
how about that point scoring system, because we currently have 7 people playing

Hmmm... Yeah that seems nice. If more people entered, would the points for #1 go up, or would u squeeze more points in between them all, or let everyone below 7 get 1 point?

if more people came we could just edit the scores quite easily i think

I'm with the idea of everybody below 7 getting one point. Getting 9th place doesn't exactly seem like something that's point-worthy.
