      Too much control

Since my earliest memories I have had very good control of my dreams.
Never had to learn the process, I just sort of knew how to do it.
I would blow up tanks invading my neighbourhood, ride on a pterodactyls back, even breath under water.
Telekenesis was easy, and passing through solid object even easier.
Only problem was, after 25 years my dreams were becoming predictable, and even boring.
I would try to loose control of a dream, and settle into a normal dream.
After another 10 years, I have now settled into a sort of 'half, and half' dream state.
If I have a short dream, it is often random, but staying in the same dream soon makes it lucid.
After reading dozens of topics on this forum, my interest is once again alive.

Not sure what I am trying to say here, but "THANKS ALL" seems to sum it up

Hello and welcome to DreamViews! I too had gotten that bored feeling within lucids. That is when I started playing along with dream plot. I don't try to lose my lucidity, but I will just go with the flow of the dream. If someone runs up to me and says, "Help my house is on fire!" I'll go help them out. Run into the fire and see if I can save something, or just see what happens. It keeps things interesting and I am still able to do cool stuff along the way. I keep an open mind and basically remind myself that anything could happen. That way...anything really can happen .

I agree with yoshi there are endless possibilities in a lucid dream.

Do something completely stupid and random. Like: walk around with an ink pen and mark on DC's. Travel to different planets, or countries. Destroy earth. Make an explosion. Visit a cartoon land. Eat different foods. Kill yourself. Rob walmart. Rip your arm off in a public place. Do acrobatics. Practice your archery. Practice swimming. Run really fast.

Those should keep you busy for a while, lol. And I could name things all night.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
