      Feeling Insane

Been working really hard lately to re-awaken my dreaming...It has been working really well. Unfortunately, it has also awoken some other crappy stuff.

Pre-sleep HH are on the rise, very dark energy...used to have intense HH as a child...Not so used to it now...

So..now im sitting here..cant sleep, and im crying for no apparent reason...and now im laughing at myself..lol
The only thing that used to calm me down was my mother, and now she is not here. Could call he but she likes her sleep

anyways, this is completely ridiculous, i dont share like this normally but I have no one to talk to so this will have to do...

gonna go to sleep to a dv podcast...its very soothing
      god im weird..lol

When you say re-awaken your dreaming, what exactly do you mean?

i know exactly how you feel, man. At least I think i do.

I had insane dreams and would fall asleep terrified every night as a kid. I still get chills when i think about the dreams i had when i was little. That being said, i love a good dream, and a good nightmare even more. I love them too much. But when i focus on it and try to entice "epic" dreaming, it gets to be too much sometimes. I don't sleep well, i start to feel like i'm losing my grip on reality, and i feel like a little terrified kid again... sometimes even during the middle of the day. And i'm a 28 year old man.

if that's what you mean, i'm pulling for you. What i do to make it go away is just focus on other stuff. I try to get outside as much as I can, stop reading other people's nightmares, and lay off the scary movies. It takes a good couple weeks to feel back to normal, at which time I'll start the cycle over again. I really think you can be addicted to dreams and nightmares. I think i am. Maybe you are too?

then again, i could be way off the mark.

Have you tried to figure out the cause of the dark energy you feel before sleeping? When I feel crappy or depressed, I try to figure out why. You really have to be honest with yourself. Once you figure it out, you can think about if that's something you can change or not. If not, maybe you need to learn to live with it and if yes, maybe you could figure out how to change your situation.

Not sure if this even comes close to answer your question. If not, please elaborate.

I had a lot of dreaming in my life from the time i was about 6yrs old till i was around 10yrs old. From that point i remembered maybe two dreams for the next 10yrs. My dreaming is on the rise again and I feel like I am coming out of a fog or a deep sleep.

Yeah, thats pretty much what I feel like, that Im losing my grip on reality. I dont think im addicted to dreams, just a little out of practice. Recently with some luck, ive been able to change the tone of my nightmares or darker dreams. Instead of being affected by the dream, I can experience the dream while remaining in a detached awareness kind of way. That came about from a lot of work in waking life. This dark energy is part of the process in my view, and I honestly like having my nightmares. I still struggle with "needing it" sometimes, but its more of a tool for me instead of a weapon against me.
This HH experience is part of that process of re-awakening that dreaming energy. Its probably only the first of many future dark energy experiences. At least I hope so..lol

Yeah, Ive been thinking a lot about it, and its a very similar experience I had with a WILD. When I began entering SP, there was a strong undertow feeling, then a high energy buzzing. However, I was just experiencing the undertow and HH without being still or entering SP. I am experimenting with some breathing practices before bed to see if I can reproduce the effect.
It doesnt actually make me feel crappy, but it does make everything unstable so anything can throw me anywhere. That is where I got the humming cuz it keeps it stable. Perhaps a breathing/humming tek might work. Gonna try that too.
