Ok so I can't believe I am making a post about poetry because I am a mathy sciency kind of guy when it comes to school. Nevertheless, in American Lit we were assigned to read "A Dream within a Dream". Naturally, since it pertained to dreaming, this aroused my curiosity so I made sure to read it extra carefully.
Anyways, although I am definitely not a critic by any means, I found it very interesting how he talked about life was simply a 'dream within a dream'. Not that I really believe it, but I have often wondered this myself. I mean, what if we really were just in a dream right now, and everyone that replies to this was just a figure of my imagination??? -Strange, isn't it? (hehe who gets that joke?)
Like I said, I am by no means a poetry critic or anything but this particular one really got me thinking. Not that I believe it but it is still a very interesting concept.
Thoughts anyone?
