Interestingly, the physical interaction of our bodies with our environment can alter our dreams. Sometimes I dream that I am in the middle of a huge storm. The wind blows fiercely and it is intensely raining. I wake up with cold and I notice that I'm sweating while the air from a fan positioned in front of my bed is projected against my face and torso. Obviously the air projected by the fan against my body is what made me dream about storms. This has happened more than once. If I sleep without socks and I feel that my feet are cold, then I dream that I'm walking barefoot through the streets. |

I agree. Just this morning I had a dream that I was falling from the sky and I could feel the wind in my face. The fan was in front of me irl. Haha. Anyway I think it's called dream incorporation? Not sure. Another example which happens to me a lot is when I hear music in real life and it seeps into my dreams and becomes a concert or something. |
