Hello there! So I'm trying this tonight. How am I going to do this? Easy, I wrote a little fantastic story which I aim to read again with a WBTB. I lost the file in which I wrote another story, so I just wrote another one. Sorry if it has mistakes, my english has flaws and I can't traslate it as well as I would like to, but here I go.
''Music. I thought it was just my imagination but it's actually real. Where does it come from? Anyway, where am I? A big dark and lonely hall extends to infinity. I start to walk in an attempt to find someone to tell me where am I or how did I come here. The air is cold and humid, so I can't avoid shiving even though I have adequate clothes.
- ¿¡Hello!? ¿¡May anyone help me!? - I exclaimed. Silence. It seems like there's isn't anybody. Or nobody wants to help me. In the worst instance someone would appear and kill me. Fantastic.
I continue walking through the never ending hall until I see a bright light. I start to walk faster and I realize it comes from a closed room. I stay still looking for signals of people, but only silence appears. I open the door, slowly and come in. A bright light gets me blind for a few seconds and, when I get my sight back I take a minute to look at the big room I just entered into.
Whoever lives there for sure likes hunting; lots of heads of all imaginable animals hang on the wall as a macabre decoration. A big throne, common in ancient castles is in the middle of the room, with two big windows at its sides which allow the starry night to be seen. Music again.
<< Where the hell does it come from? >>
I realize that there's another door on the right side of the majestic room. The small door is a piece of art; small statues and buildings are represented with gold on the door surface. I open it expecting to open the door of a treasure room but I only get scared by a human skeleton on the floor with a dagger full of gems. I rise my sight to the top of the room looking for something valuable but when I notice something on my hands I look down again. The skeleton, which obviously is not really dead, is grabbing my hand.
- Are you trying to steal my treasure... you won't be forgotten - he says trying to stab me in the leg but I'm faster and kick his head, gaining time.
<< What the hell was that thing?! I've to get out of this cursed place. >>
I start running the faster I'm able to and almost fall because of the carpet. Music again. It has turned even creepier now. I see a big door at the end of the hall and spend all my energy in running faster. It's so close. Something falls over me and when I focus on whatever fell on me I realize that my friend is again here. Somehow.
- I told you I would not forgive you - he stabs me on the chest and I ran out of air.
[...]
- Are you awake? - someone says at the end of the stairs.
<< I can't believe it was just a nightmare. It just felt so real... Anyway, I gotta get up. >>
I get up and go to the bathroom to wash my face. I wait a minute to let the water get warm and put my hands into the comfortable, hot water. After washing my hand I look at the mirror and scream.
- I have not ended with you. Come here - he says while he gets his arms out of the mirror and drags me into the mirror. I faint. When I open my eyes everything is dark and empty. Not the kind of emptiness you've always thought of, but the very real emptiness, which could absorb your soul and tear your entrails. I hear music.
<< Isn't this ever gonna end? Wait. What if all of this is just a dream within another dream? >>
I think about my past years and can't remember any of them. I do a reality-check just to be completely sure and... I am dreaming!
A new reality starts to generate in front of my eyes. Flashing lights and colours fluctuate in a colossal spiral over me before getting solid forming a new whole world. Green as you have not ever seen creates a vast field full of fantastic creatures as elves and goblins. The sky fills with a bright light blue full of planets that threaten to collide with the new world that has just appeared. The last details appears with the creation of a big dark wood tree, which end can't be seen. I sit down on the base of the tree to admire the beauty of the new reality my mind hast just done.
<< There's no such thing as a single reality. >>
I decide to get up and fly, fly to explore, fly to feel that world full of beauty and fantasy, without worries and where everything is possible. The dream world. ''
I don't know if the choice of a nightmare has been correct, because it's possible that I wake up before the lucid part. Anyway I'll try it.
PD: Happy year!
