dream woman

I know this will sound crazy... it seems very crazy to me. I pride myself on science and logic at all times; but...
I started having a recurring dream about a woman when I was 5 years old. For 33 years I've had very vivid dreams of her and I being together and in love. I always just thought she was nothing more than a figment of my imagination.
Then, 6 months ago, I met her. She is half my age but we started talking and now we are in love - like, really deep, true love.
Has anyone heard anything like this before? It makes no sense to me that I started dreaming of her so many years before she was even born, only to actually meet her and have her perfectly resemble every single physical characteristic and personality trait. It's kind of spooky and I just would like to know what else anyone might have experienced or if you have heard of anything like this.
It's not logical at all.

Well, wow. That IS spooky.

Personally I didn't really have anything fancy like that, and the only other thing I know for sure is that a friend of me is somehow able to get information about others through dreams randomly. Like rather private information sometimes.
But nothing of that caliber.

I'm really interested though, can you comfortably share some more details? Was she always the same age in your dreams? Did you tell her already or do you think you will tell her some time?

This sounds like to me like it was meant to happen. I don't know the full power of dreams but if you really are serious then thats amazing. Maybe you two were destined for each other. I know I sound nuts but really, continuous dreams about her for most of your life? That has to mean something, and if it really is true then there is alot more to dreams than we really know presently.

It gets more strange. She and I have shared the same dream a couple of times on the same night - though we live in different areas (long distance relationship). We also seem to have some kind of wavelength where we'll text each other the same thing - this has happened too many times to count. I finally told her about the 33 years worth of dreams and she thinks it's proof of being meant to be. In my dreams, she was always the same age and totally identical to what she is currently. Recently I have had dreams where she is older and we have a family.
What is most spooky is the other night, she was visiting relatives several hours away from me. I woke up in my bed at about 3:30 a.m. saying her name. Before I told her this, she informed me that she woke up sometime after 3 a.m. because she dreamt I was standing by her bed saying her name.
