Are the best dreams in the morning time?

You know, it seems like I best remember dreams in the morning. Not only do I remember that dream but I start to remember dreams in simular locations. Whats your guys experience on this?

REM periods are longer in the morning, which makes them easier to remember. Also (and maybe for this reason), dream yogis report more "dreams of clarity" occurring during these periods. Not sure what you mean by "better," but they are certainly better for lucid dreaming.

I guess it makes sense. Since when you wake up and go back to sleep the dreams are shorter.

Yeah, my dreams are longer during the third or so rem cycle. In the morning I never want to get up because my dreams are so vivid and interesting,

Dreams are definitely higher quality in the last 2 hours of sleep, earlier in the night it's more disjointed and early on you don't even really have dreams but just "thoughts".

When I oversleep on the weekend the most likely time to become lucid is after I would have gotten up for work 80% of lucid dreams have been at this time or latter in mid morning

Mines anytime, since my work schedule is quite hectic, even tend to lucid
dream within first hour of sleep.
