Very Disappointing Dream: She asked me to be her Boyfriend!!!

This was the most disappointing and sad dream because when i woke up, i realized that what i just ex perienced wasn't true. It was just a dream.

Man that sucks. I've never had a girlfriend in my life(and i'm old 30 something I've never even had a single date) and that girl I know her in real life, we see eachother everyweek and she spends time with me. not in a normal way. i have disabilities and she helps out around the hospital. that's how we interact.

So in the dream it was such an awesome feeling when she asked me and finally i thought i found love.

But it was all just a dream. I hate it. anyone had this kind of thing?

Any dream which causes longing when they end must be of the most curious kind.

I have had a few dreams in which my wife (I don't have a wife in real life) would give birth to a child, and I would just hold it or rock it to sleep, and I would feel love for that baby for the whole day after the dream, and feel a little bit sad that this baby was not real. All the babies I've lost...

If you are worried about finding a girlfriend, I suggest either talking about more personal things with this girl that seems to interest you and see where it goes. Or if not, do think about going on an online-dating site. I am sure you'll find someone there.

(and I say that because that's my plan if I haven't crossed paths with anyone at 30.)

Sometimes In a dream I will see someone where things are different now in life, but in the dream they are like they used to be, in the dream you forget that things have changed and things are great.

Then when you wake up you realize that they are different. I don't think I hate this kind of dream. It is the opposite of a nightmare, where things are better than reality in some way. I would rather have lucid dreams than this type of dream I suppose but, If I had a few of them this month, I would certainly hope that at least one of them was one I remembered. Would you rather have woken up not realizing you had the dream and just feeling vaguely sad, I would rather remember.

Have you ever been able to use your disability to trigger a lucid dream. I hobble along on an injured knee at the moment and keep hoping in my dreams, I remember if I am running in the dream or something. Or remember in a dream hey I'm not wearing glasses why are things so sharp. I haven't triggered off these things yet tho.
