How influenced by movies are our dreams?

Lately I've been thinking about this. There are some elements of my dreams that flow as normal life/time would, in first person and with a "natural" sense. However, sometimes I can appreciate fun elements that, after waking up, remind me of the cinematographic language. This could be a particular angle/point of view when I'm watching a scene as an spectator, or the lighting of a landscape that looks especially prominent. Sometimes it could be more complex things: I remember dreaming some weeks ago about someone shouting "You can not hit me!" when someone else was threating him, and immediately the scene changed to a hospital where that guy was covered of bandages in a pretty comical way. That jump from one scene to other looked just like movie shots, and I'm sure that my mind learnt that from all the movies I've seen until now.

Can you recall any cinematographic element from your dreams? How intense could be the influence of movies over our dreaming? Do you think we could use that influence during our awaken life to inspire different dreams?

Dude, i've watched Inside Out and i'm still seen colorful people hahaha
So, yeah movies will play a big part in your dreams, probably more when you dream about your day (I think it's called residual dreams or something).
"I'll wait here by your side
      'Till you fall asleep
      I'll wait until you cry
      All over me
      the tears you hide inside"

      Sweet Dreams!

      Hy everyone!

My every dream has some movie feel or look.i think it is normal.
We watch movies or tv shows, and our mind ''learns'' camera angles,
special effects and all other hollywood godnesses.it enchances our
dream experience.i cant imagine what prehistoric people dream of,
because before, there were just land with trees and grass, there were
no cities or movies to ''enchance'' our dreams.
And most of movies are designed in lucid dreams.THE INCEPTION is
specially about lucid dreaming. The matrix is about lucid dreaming too.
