I searched and there were few responses in synesthesia threads, so I hope it will be more popular this time.
It would be really really very awesome if I could ever listen to Beethoven and Mozart's music and at the same time watch the music, feel it on my skin/in my body, smell and taste the music, but for now I'll look forward to just seeing music. Maybe experiencing music through all the senses is something I should look forward to if I ever take a very high dose of a psychedelic substance.
But I wonder if this is common in dreams. Have you ever watched music in your dreams?
Ofcourse other types of synesthesia would also be fascinating, but I often associate music with imagery and I also like music more than anything else. But for example hearing the taste of chocolate doesn't seem too far-fetched. I often relate thoughts to imagery, though this does seem far-fetched to actually experience. I wouldn't be shocked if I could smell colors, though obviously I would be very excited by it.
