Thread: Facts and Laws in the Dream Realm

• Watches and clocks don’t tell time. They just don’t.
• Flying is normal but if you try to hard to come down you’ll only end up going higher and suffocate.
• If you walk up to a stranger and tell them you know them there is a 50% chance they will either somehow be your friend or they will walk away disappear.
• Zombies live in the rivers.
• Telekinesis is illegal and you will get arrested.
• Never accidentally hit cop car with a tree branch. The cop will know you did it even if he didn’t see you and he will shoot at you.
• Dogs and cats that can talk hate you. They’ll tell you so before they try to attack you.
• Doors that are closed are always locked and cannot be unlocked.
• Doors that are not locked will not stay locked.
• Food is either plastic, has no taste or is in some other way uneatable.
• The bathroom is always haunted.
• Elevators never take you the right floor.
• Stairwells get smaller and smaller the higher you climb them. Unless you have the correct password.
• The Genie always lies.
• If you look in the mirror and see yourself you will wake up. (but your mirror image will never actually look like you)
• Whatever you are doing if you just stop, lay down, and close your eyes you will wake up.
• Some people can read your mind but you never know who can.
• If you need to tell someone something important you will loose your voice, also screaming is impossible.

There's only 1 rule in each of my non-lucid dreams... Everything makes total sense and if it doesn't make sense, the rule is to make sense out of it!
And you obviously will make sense out of it each time because otherwise that's a contradiction to the rule (or you'll be lucid dreaming).

Example: The lights don't work.
1) "Oh that's right, my lights don't work." => This is actually pretty obvious, lights just don't work you know... What did you think?
2) "Oh no! The light bulbs have just broken, all 3 of them!"
3) "What a shame, my dad hasn't fixed my broken lights yet "
4) "Argh, not again! A power shortage in our town."

Motto: When it doesn't make sense... Blame someone/something else!!

Dream Characters seem to be surprised if you show them Dream anomalies like multiple fingers and the fingers passing through your palm.

Last night i had a dream where i was almost lucid.
Almost lucid because i did reality checks and found anomalies but for some reason i didn't believe it. I had about 2 false awakenings without being completely sure i was dreaming. In the last try i did b4 awakening, i called 2 dream characters and showed them that i had 6 fingers in one hand. They went "WoW, thats amazing. I dont think i have ever seen something like that in my life...". I still wasn't believing i was dreaming and i awake up. This was really stupid and the biggest fail i had...

I have learned that if you get a haircut you need to eat the hair they cut off

that's right. Sometimes you have to analyze these things after you wake up. You might figure out something that makes absolutely no sense to me, but you can understand.

Great one this morning when I woke up...

• To play drums in a jazz band, you have to get your testicles cut off.

If you have a bloody nose, any classmates walking by must be attacked and turned into a jar by either you or the dean of the school. Communication with the classmate jars is still possible, but very disrespectful.

It made perfect sense to me.

The only way to escape from monsters is by jumping from a high height. Drag racing on the sidewalk gets you arrested. Running around at night gets you thrown in jail, although you can bribe your way out.
