Death Dreams

Sorry if its a repost but im new. Wanted to see how many of you had death dreams before and what you remmeber about them. I personally had one and here it is. 1) All i remmember is running away from something at night on top of a seven story yellow brick building. *Yes its a real building painted yellow. As im running I jump/fall off the roof in an attempt to get away. Most of the time I would wake up from the fall but this time something went wrong. I fell of the building and smashed flat into the concrete road. I heard my own bones snap and felt myself hit the ground. It was a loud thump. All of the sudden I see myself from the side like an outter body expirience. Im looking at my own body which is laying on the pavement covered in blood and face all smashed up. The blood is spreading all around the body and i realise that I died. Then all of a sudden a force of unknown nature pulls me into complete darkness. I keep getting pulled, feeling of flying in the air but i cant control the flight, im just being pulled by something unknown into nowwhere because i cant see anything but darkness. After about five minutes of being pulled into one direction I wake up.

It was interesting to read what happenned to you after you died. I dreamed I was eaten by a monster once. I felt my bones crunch in its mouth and then I was lying on the ground. I looked like "Beetle Bailey" after Sarge had beaten him up lying there. That was the end of the dream though.

Hi, Welcome to DreamViews! This was a pretty ... scary dream. I know I had nightmares like that but, I don't remember all the details. I don't remember at all. I guesse most of the time I wake up. I've been already bitten by animals and all that but I always wake up.

One time after I had a death dream (I forget which), I woke up but I was just barely conscious and I couldn't move much, and I was completely covered by my covers. It was completely dark and I thought I was dead.

"In the olden days" I'd wake up just before I died. But now it's as if Im invulnerable, when I'm shot, pierced by spikes or drowned - I don't die. Actually, I don't feel a thing. And the wound just vanishes over time. I'm not gonna complain

I remember two death dreams. These were from a few years ago so I don't remember much. 1) I was looking at the turnips I had planted outside. They did exist in real life. I think I was about to water them when I just fell down on my head, then to my side and died. I became an entity that could not be seen. I felt a little airy and light, but everything else was the same. I wandered around the town trying to find a someone who could help me, though who could help somebody like that? I found this lady who had a camera. She took a picture and I was shown on the camera. We both talked and I became very depressed because I thought that I would remain in this state forever. I think I woke up. 2) I was in a hospital bed. My face was buried into a soft white pillow and I knew it was the end. My vision faded and I couldn't see the pillow's texture anymore and only a white tunnel. I wasn't scared at all for some reason and I saw a brief flash of something green (probably a meadow). I either woke up or don't remember the rest.

I've had about three. 1) I was walking on my way to school and it was sort of like a drive by shooting. I remember coming back to earth to tell everyone that I was alright. 2) I was being chased and then I got stabbed I remember floating up and I was in space. I was pretty upset because I was thinking if this was it. Just floating around in space. 3) I actually can't remember how I died but I remember that I did die and I was stuck in my body. I was wating for myself to leave my body but nothing happened for a long time.

I have had four death dreams. 1. First one I was eaten by a wolf, but woke up before I died. 2. Second one I was euthanised for being insane. I fell asleep after they injected me with sedative. It was beautiful. 3. I fell out of a flying car to my death. I was a ghost as well, going down a passage, and I could hear my mother talking to me. I had a choice between going back and keeping going. I chose to turn back, and woke up (not IRL) in the hospital, told I had broken everything but my skull, my spine and my spinal chord. They said I was a miracle. 4. I dreamed I was a ghost in purgatory with someone who had killed themselves. Then I had a flashback leading up to our deaths. I had died of an asthma attack trying to run away from a boarding school. I fell to the ground and said goodbye to my brother. It was an awesome feeling. I LOVE death dreams!

I AM IMMORTAL! I've had countless death nightmares. When I am stabbed to death I don't die I win. When I am shot to death I lay there pretend to be dead, waiting for the bad guys to leave. When I crash up I get up. When I blow up my dream changes. When I am chased or close to death I become lucid 90% of the time.

There are too many to tell, however one I remember significantly. I had somehow died, the cause unknown. I could only remember few things, such as my family, friends, and my own name. I then suddenly appeared in the back yard of my old house. The sky was pure gray, the air was comfortably cool, and the atmosphere was more vivid and clear. There was no sun, no light, no heat, and no emotion. I saw some of my family members talking to each other by my old tree house near the lawn. God was there in a human form, and he was telling them that this was heaven. I was gloomy and sad about all of this. This wasn't haven! I wasn't happy, comforted, nor excited. I took a step into the rocks next to the cement pathway, and my foot stepped on a large, protruded rock. I shrieked in pain, and fell into the rocks. The pain was much worse, and now that I was in heaven, I was much more sensitive emotionally and physically. I began crying, and then felt nauseas. My pain soon became comforting! I realized that my state of being was replaced to an infinite feeling of relief; sort of like when you stretch your body after a long nap. God came up to me, and told me something about the things I would have to adapt to in heaven, and at that time I woke up

well lets see i have died countless times. all of wich my dream continued after i was dead. lets see ive been eaten by a T-rex on several occasions, death by fire, drowning, blown up, shredded in a paper shredder, heart attack, hit by a truck, car wreck, falling and hitting the cement, by gunshot, frozen to death, grenade, plane wreck. But the most recent one was i was in the forest looking out over a city and i saw an A-bomb fall, i watched as the explosion ripped through the town, I felt calm and ready to die, the heatwave hit and seared my flesh away, then the soundwave crushed my bones, and finally i died in a pool of my own body fluid. I could feel it all the entire time and it hurt like hell. Immediately after i died it all went black and i thought dang it im in freaking hell oy that sucked. but a few minutes or so after i died i woke up and my whole body hurt like i had been beaten, it was wierd. I have woken up bleeding without wounds or cut up and bruising, dont know if my mind did it or what but i have definately felt the after effects of some of my deaths. the worst was i woke up in a pool of blood, in my dream my nose was broken and in the morning i woke up in a pool of blood that had soaked through both my matresses, apparently my nose began to bleed in the middle of the night and wouldnt stop.

Yes..It appears that the mind has great control over the body sometimes. The brain seems to translate dream events to real life events and the other way around. Just before I woke up this morning I heard someone repeat a word over and over again...When I woke up the "sound of the word" changed into the sound of drill... Apparently someone was drilling a hole outside and it sounded EXACTLY like that person's voice.

Once all the water was sapped out of my body,leaving me feeling like a scarecrow made from parchment paper,I felt intense thirst,and knew I was on the verge of death..somehow I woke up still feeling that thirst.It was scary,and the glasses of water I drank afterwards tasted like nectar from the gods! Another time,I felt a hand grasp my forearm..lifting me up.I looked to the right,and a woman with a diseased looking face,stared at me mournfully,pulling me towards some unknown destination.It wasn't heaven.Instead I was led to a group of tall skinny stick figure creatures with weird box looking heads.They were covered with symbols.It reminded me of the flying thing that assaulted the guy from the movie 'Communion'.That movie scared the crap out of me,and so did the dream/astral experience.Somehow I returned back to my body..shaken.It felt too real.

Well, I had one REALLY freaky dream, and I died in the end. My family and I were running up a spiral staircase that stretched up forever. We had been running for some time, I think, because when we looked down we could just see the staircase for as far as the eye could see. At the top was a door that lead to safety. I huge sort of cloud of black smoke was following us, trying to catch us and kill us. Sometimes parts of it formed legs, or arms, or claws, and then they would dissolve and drift back into the cloud. The door got closer and closer, but I was slowing everyone down, more and more, tripping and falling over the stairs, crying. Unless I hurried up, it was going to get everyone. I couldn't hurry up. I realised suddenly that it was after me. I just had this feeling. Dream logic, I guess. I looked back. It was getting more and more solid, almost fully in some sort of demon shape. Then I realised, wqith horrible clarity, what was the only thing I could do. I ran towards it, down the stairs. I was still crying. It looked at me, hissed for a moment, and got ready to strike. I moved forwards, grabbing it's hands hard and twisting. It looked puzzled for a moment, and then, still holding it, I stepped forwards and tumbled down into oblivion. Unusually for me, I hit the ground. When I stood up, the world was totally grey, and I could see what was left of my body a little way below me. I looked around. There were no angels. There was no shimmering light, or a pearly gate. That wasn't suprising at least - I had always expected that, if there was an afterlife, I would be taking the express elevator downwards. But there wasn't even a harp. Just blackness. As I had always thought, there really was nothing.

I had a 'lucid' dream long ago (Well, parts of the dream was lucid, the beginning of it) where I was staying at a very busy hotel. I was walking in a crowded lobby full of people who were morbidly smiling at me for no reason at all. And then there was this man who smiled at me, pointed a gun at my head, and shot me. I remember waking up in some heaven-like area (I'm not a christian or any religious person :p) with some old man in a white coat telling me that I had three chances left. (Which probably inclided three more deaths before I ended up there) I was back at my room at the hotel I think. Suddenly there was a hell alot of noise and loudness coming from outside the door, and people wanted to meet me and make my aquaintance for some reason. Instead of shaking my hand, they stampeded me in order to get into my room. The rest is blurry and I can only remember small glimpses, but eventually I was shot again in the head and the whole cutscene thing happened again (as if it was some kind of game or something) and I saw myself in a perspective walking into a white horizon, accompanied with orchestrated music of some sort.

Hello, I am new, I don't have lucid dreams (hard to me, don't have time every day, but I had a few lucid dreams). I had a death dream maybe year ago, an assassin was trying to shoot me in some public place (some market or something). I was trying to escape, he didn't hit me, but he was really fast and eventually he shot me in the head from close distance. Nobody cared, pedestrians behaved as if they didn't see it. I fell to the ground and I couldn't move (I saw the ground from my eyes, but couldn't move). I don't remember what happened next, I think I woke up. Long time ago (when I was a kid) I had another dream, I don't remember how I died (I don't think it was shown in my dream, but I knew I died) and I saw a windows message asking me on what to do next (I don't remember options). Pretty strange, huh? (But as I said the second dream was long ago, maybe 6 years ago)

I was wondering what happenned to you guys in your dreams when you die? I always respawn somewhere else. Do you guys just don't die and stay where you were or do you black out and appear somewhere else? If everyone blacks out and appear somewhere else it could actually mean that it is bad to die in a dream because it means that if you were trying to achieve a goal, you have to restart. Just wondering.

Depends, generally I will die and then have some sort of "soul" watching what happens to the dead body, quite funny lol (And painful...)

I always respawn into another dream character. Once (in a dream) me and 4 friends were in a haunted house, where (unknowingly to us) a vampire lived o.o He was able to murder two of us, including me. The other three were able to escape the house. As soon as he killed me, all of my conciousness was shifted into one of my friends who was running away.
