watched my co-workers (after there had been an explosion) as their skin melted off and their lungs were burnt so they couldn't scream when their arms were being cut off.

Recall starting to make a comeback.

+ in a tent preparing a water-tight kayak for (my son?), my green down sleeping bag is there; we're set up in a camping site, and some other people come and drop some things in the immediately adjacent site (really? can't you move farther away?), their things (boxes of cereal, food, equipment) are lined up right on the border with our site, I can't quite see just where is the boundary between their stuff and our stuff it keeps moving

+ our team's weapon is a tube of compressed air that we put into the mouths of our enemies and it blows them up from inside; we put it in the mouth of one enemy woman and she seems to resist it for a long time, I notice she's hot and figure why waste a hot girl and so as she floats over me I bring her butt up to my face (I'm lying down), take off her thong panties and dive in

+ long sequence of taco restaurant(s): in a bus, moving through the entrance but it's too tight to move without knocking things over; the taco counter in the food court hallway has its lights off but it's still working, inspecting the meat with friends I show off the high quality pork by slicing it in half and opening it up; asking the cook woman standing a level above me if they do catering, I'm thinking I want to order 500 tacos but they'll probably get soggy if we make that many and they just sit around for too long.

Woohoo lots of dreams and a (semi-lucid) epic!

+ driving out of the parking lot, into the street, brakes stuck in sheet, backing up blind, red light, green light, which light is mine?

+ girl (I think is it JG(SG)?) dives into tiny white porcelain bathtub, lands hard, turns face up, no it's not JG; walk past some people standing farther down the path

+ copying some large (video?) file onto (dozens of) 5 1/4" floppies, when all done I think WTF have I done this for, my laptop doesn't *have* a 5 1/4" drive!

+ walking on a path down a slippery hill ("this is where I always slip") a woman slips onto branches ahead of me, I made it down OK then climb in-between the large branches of a huge rosemary tree

+ making out (deep "om nom nom" face chewing, slippery lips) with my (new bride?), I say "I love kissing you!" (there is some concern on her part for getting advice for the wedding night?)

+ jumping around outside a building, enter building, multi-level pathways, confronting the evil lord in the large cafeteria-like room (who is the late-teen version of one of my kids' childhood friends) I sneak up on him and ignite my lightsaber (invisible blade) and hold it to his neck.

+ epic: the guy wants advice at the tech store, I'm in the neighborhood, enter store, rows of tech items, store guy shows old ibm-pc style systems with 5 1/4" floppy drives, leave store, re-enter, now it's a huge tech mart, I'm with friends looking through the awesome items, I find a make-it-yourself lightsaber kit, ignite it, use "powers" to manifest the blade, make it proper thickness, length, color, swing it around hear proper sounds, engage with friends, "chop" it through his body, the wall, feel resistance, frequently re-adjust length/thickness/color of the blade, sneak up on friend changing the blade color to red as if I'm a sith; jump up tower, jump back down, use "power" (invisible iron-man jets from hands) to levitate to a soft landing, where's my lightsaber? find it; leave store with friends, we agree it was awesome day there, we should go back, friend says he wants to work on his levitation, I say I can already do that and "watch this!" I jump out of our floating vehicle and land softly (at last moment), jump back up now I'm behind; arrive new location, jump to it, lose lightsaber, with wife and kids (at younger age), see "my" lightsaber (kind of like a thermos) with group of women/girls, open the top of the thermos trying to see if it's my lightsaber, decide it's not, but the woman/girls really want me to pour them a drink; back on bed I see son S2 with male and female friend (she's wearing only bright orange bra&panties), male friend talks about watching romantic movie I say "Roman Holiday? That's a total *score* movie!" then think of wife nearby and say "just kidding!"; looking at list of web links on screen at foot of bed, top one is a very NSFW link and I'm trying to find the "remove this link" link for it son comes and looks at list.

I stole from pirates in a game and sort of had a baby on a train.

Sort of fragmented last night:

+(f) I'm trying to decide whether or not to preserve a strand hair from a departed relative

+(f) I'm on the team implementing a (floating point?) math unit, despite not being very familiar with such things, the female manager is not happy with this, but I decide I'll do my best, analyze the design, and try to make it better

+(f) there are now long lines of people out the door and down the sidewalk waiting for lunch from my favorite restaurants, I go in one and there's not much place to sit, impressions of bowls of soup

+(f) on an assembly line miraculously popping out medium-sized metal devices (about the size of gas BBQ grills), it's amazing how it works

+(f) someone (girl?) calls me to show me there's orange chicken on the buffet tables, I don't see it, I take one of her pieces and eat it

So, last night I experienced my 101st lucid dream, and it was a pretty eventful one too.

- Falling towards the ski and landing on the ground of another world.

- Passionately kissing a girl with a really small mouth.

- Almost getting run over by a train seemed to have triggered ‘emergency lucidity’ and I could escape by spontaneously phasing through the ground.

Almost became lucid after watching my mom going through my stuff.

Parkoured through Paris, Assassin's Creed style, then ate some weird grape cotton candy that felt like i was biting into lint.

Celebrated a nurse's birthday with Caillou (from that kid's show.)

Watched a terrified pony that resembled a Flareon turn into Nagini and tried to escape Voldemort.

LD ending about 3 hours into sleep: Beginning is fuzzy; earliest memory is of flying around on a city street and asking the DCs why they don't fly too and being told “It's too hard!”; later I hit a void and came back in some sort of church/sanctuary building with a lot of rooms and stained glass windows, where I looked around trying out all the light switches (they often make interesting stuff happen) for a while before coming outside, practicing flying some more, and realizing this is the longest LD I've had in quite a long time, then I finally remembered to do the RRC/memory stuff but woke up in the process.

Sadly didn't remember to really work on any of my real goals in that one—there would have been a lot of time for it!

+ (man I used to hate these, thankfully I don't get them much any more) In University, haven't studied in my classes, I'm way behind, I'm going to have to figure out how to catch up

+ running/jogging down a hill, this is really hard on the legs

+ prisoner in a dark garden outside a house on a hillside under trees, think of escaping over right fence, but it's covered by wicked 3-4" razor-sharp spikes, think about flying out, left wall is guarded by vicious dog, dog distracted, I walk through some open gates leading to the street getting my hopes up, will I make it out?, final gate guarded too closely (I could run past them ut they'd sound the alarm and catch me for sure), squat down in dejection waiting to be discovered, new guard arrives and sees me, tells me I've made it farther than anyone else; walking in city with guard, I say how I hate Africa and if I ever get out will never return, guard who saw me has a sweaty bald head.

Night of no recall previous night followed by a pretty big dreaming night this last night. Took a while to gather all the memories in the morning.

+ in cube (new job?) at work, multiple CRT monitors (waiting for LCD flatscreen replacements), phone suspended in air caught in web of cables, old tech (windows 98, "C on Windows NT") books, colorful, guy comes and asks question "what is so amazing about memory mapped files?", I give accurate answer

+ car on steep hill pointing up (first curve of S above HC), slip back, brake, parking brake, get out, room full of Indian men and women, see some faces clearly, they're getting into a car, a 50's like sedan with bright colorful (blue?) seats, my wife & kids arrive and are wearing clothing with my alma mater's logo including a baseball cap

+ in some building (University?), there is an advertising strip on the ceiling against the wall, containing a long scroll in constant motion, I observe it moving for a while, I think the administrators of the department constantly add and subtract notices from this moving banner

+ in SF, arriving at an off-ramp, companion (girl?) in car giving directions, I see huge tangled overpasses all around very tall, I say "I've never been to this part of the city before so I don't know where I'm going," She indicates to go left at the light, but there are multiple lefts and I ask "which one?"

+ long row of couch seat cushions, I walk along it, talk to small black boy eating some (candy?) which has strong health benefits, I say "is it breadfruit?" he indicates it came from the wall; lying down, two very dark black girls (one a medicine woman?) nearby, one (less pretty) hovers over me, I draw her face to mine and say "I want to kiss you!" and kiss her until dream transitions

+ arrive at entrance to park I'm driving car, entrance is extremely steep narrow road made of couch cushions, I'm trying to get traction to get over the very steep entrance gate, the guard helps, he says to pour out the water from my soda which I do and we spread over the front of the gate thing, he says "take off the parking brake", friend says we know about the fake teamsters which jump out to scare you as part of the park exhibit; I get going up hill, there are cushions sticking on the left and right side of the road to mark the central path, I say to compansions "I'm trying not to get us killed here"; road turns 90 degrees I'm walking now, observing piles of documents stacked log-cabin style which are supposed to hold up the road, see groups of people, wonder which ones are the jump-out-to-scare-you teamsters, and if I should react to them or not; reach top of hill, see another hill in distance, dry, scorched earth, I "remember" I climbed this hill on my last visit to this area (SA park) [false memory]; see college roommate friends having picnic, see old friend NI sitting, I walk up with my hands in the air saying "'eeeeeyyyyyyy!" he stands and walks away I think it's my beard he doesn't recognize me, I keep my arms in the air and follow him saying "I wonder how long this will take?" he finally recognizes me, we hug, I say "How long has it been, man, since 1980?" [false]

Looney-toons-like sequence where a character steps in front of a house or shed and somehow triggers a chain reaction that ends with some object flying through the air and landing on him (or something like that), then I think of it as a 3-D video game and try landing on the trigger so that the object misses me and lands in an unanticipated location: I'm thrown off in one direction indefinitely, causing the dream world to glitch out (wacky depth/sizes, objects breaking up into polygon primitives, etc.) until I wake up

Chased by a kid and his little brother, the kids name was Juan and I know him in real life but his name isn't Juan.

I summoned Conan O'Brien for a DC, because I believed that I was just a helpful DC in the DC's lucid dream

I was investigating a crime at an elementary school, and found a secret zoo full of puffins.

I went to go surfing with my friends at the beach, but there were huge sharks everywhere!!! Also my dad was with us and the sharks were giving birth to more sharks... The sharks were HUGE too...

+ walking on bridge by woman skier who falls, should I help her?; group of kayakers in trouble, I hold on to the kayak while some of them float downstream; looking through bag of random stuff in a room (goggles?)

+ Walking down a city street, lots of overhead billboards, I'm with Sensei, I see his name mentioned and point this out to him

+ A concert of acrobats in huge hall with massive multi-story stage made up of dozens of doors at all levels, I swing/glide down to the ground, tap my foot to establish solidity of the ground, and converse a bit with one of the performers

At first I was on the grass, making out with a girl, but then I was underground, playing games with a squirrel.

+ my (wife?) is killing some long, thick, nasty multi-segmented lobster-centipede bug things in a barrel (I think they're called "unicorn beetles"?), she wants to spray them with insecticide first but I think that will make a mess, she pulls apart the head of one of them (well, I think, that will certainly kill 'em) and there's a lot of crab-like white meat there.

+ with people, I'm considering entering some (rapids?) water with a yellow legal notepad, I wonder if it will get wet and whether I'll be able to write on it in the water

+ approaching by car a small multi-apartment building, trying to see where to park, there are designated spots by apartment number, but not unique, they're group parking places, the deluxe apartments have fewer competing apartment numbers for the parking spot than the regular ones (2 vs. about 8-10), go inside, group of people there in a room, tell the (landlady?) who's pooping on an open floor squatting-style toilet that my sister an bro-in-law will be coming to stay, the plumbing is leaking and there's a small pool of water on the floor, as I walk out the landlady grunts and a chunk of poop splats onto the white porcelain (egads).

I met a cute guy from a previous dream and we hugged for what seemed like forever.

Waking life relentlessly interfering with night after night of sleep and dreaming

+ (ancient ruins?) there's one spot where if you lean out just right at just the right time in the morning facing the building, the sunlight reflects off the building and catches your face just right so that you can take an interesting picture of your face, my friends can't get the picture right so I tell them to give me the camera, there are only a few seconds a day when this works, I wonder if people line up to be able to do this

+ (DO) room full of young women at a training session on A/C maintenance, narrator says "Science has proven that circulation alone is not sufficient, the air must be made cooler…"

~Dreamer~ would be proud, the "main event" of last night was a 15+ minute vivid dream about cleaning toilets and scrubbing the filthy tile walls of a public bathroom

+ in a house, party, big house, it's my house, large well-decorated rooms, I'm walking around and get mixed up where I'm going, I think people will be impressed with my house; best friend MR arrives knocking a long time on the door

+ with people choosing a location: we're now in the American south west, like Arizona: wide open vistas, a long line of distant rocky bluffs fill the horizon (visually really stunning), I say I really like it but it's too dry/desolate, then I fly up in the air to get a better perspective and the plot changes to some chasing theme.

+ at a gas station [DS], chewing out my team they're not cooperating, all of a sudden my former boss arrives I instantly recognize her (looks completely accurate), I'm quite surprised, I say "no no I'm not talking about you", then we hang out eating a picnic off the roof of my car (large chunks of thick steak), I'm concerned people will get upset with us for hogging the position by the pumps

+ (vivid, long) we (wife and I?) locked ourselves inside a public bathroom (at the gas station?), I'm scrubbing the toilet, the filthy tile walls with scotch pad, I see each tile as I clean it, some of them have pictures of famous people's faces, I'm trying to choose a scrubbing pattern to get the entire wall clean, we'll have to rinse off the soap foam, the toilet has been repaired with deep red caulking that makes it look like it's covered in blood I think this is really strange, there's a toilet mounted vertically on the wall (so that the bowl points down towards the floor!) that I open up and a huge cloud of ass-gas fills my nostrils it smells like someone who had been eating nothing but chorizo burritos for a week took a massive dump there, the vertical toilet is covered in dark red heavy oil, the floor toilet is clogged by a massive turd I keep trying to flush it down, trying to find something to force it down, it eventually goes and I flush once more wondering if it will go down or overflow; they're knocking on the door, we'll have to let them in?, they point to the structure across the street (through the walls?), the floor toilet bowl is now is filled with a little model version of a classical (Roman?) building with marble columns, I point out how I've cleaned the walls and how you can see the pattern of bright/dark tiles where I've cleaned.

+ talking with a guy who's wearing a company badge with his manager's name (ShCl), the same one I worked for at a former company, I see ShCl sitting at the end of the table, I keep asking him when he worked there (dates) but he doesn't answer, it turns out we worked on the same project for the same manager, and potentially even at the same time, I sort of see/remember his name.

Nothing at 6 hrs waking, then after a brief WBTB a bunch of nicely detailed dreams including a semi-lucid semi-epic .

+ playing football (jerseys are inside out), miss an interception, guy kicks the point after, I go to judge, stuck in field-goal closet, break out an opening, see that "Mindy" (male) the hobo made up a neat room "carpeted" with rough sandpaper and will be parking his motorcycles there

+ fight in long curved hallway with "cricket" (MIB) gun, shoot, miss, aim carefully, hit, no real effect, the gun has three small switches that must be cocked before each shot, it shoots a rainbow colored beam

+ (semi-lucid) in a building pursuing a bad guy, fly/phase through wall to street, persuing car, dream image is half-sized, I'm trying to fully enter the scene and make it "full-screen", in house, dominate evil DC, encounter girl, sexy time, get on couch with other DCs, graze the leg of another girl DC who's surprised, move to another couch and make out (briefly so as not to lose the dream) caress several more girls, visuals fade out but I maintain tactile contact and visuals return, another girl moves to straddle me I expect sex but she opens her mouth (lots of large, sharp teeth!) and lowers her head to bite my chest and I wake up

+ standing at a large, round kitchen table, Indian mothers with kids are eating toast, there's a toaster at each place on the table, I want toast too but I can't find bread, there are cookies, I find them under a shelf away from table, my wife is talking religion with the father who's skeptical down at the far end of the table; I move to the adjacent living room to play a game with NM (grad) and his wife A and their friends/family, it's a role-playing game, N's wife A gets really cozy with me we're sitting with our arms around each other I feel self-conscious about this and take my arms off of her but she keeps holding me close, I make "I don't know what to do?" "shrug" expressions with my eyes to show I'm not trying to come on to her, A is really cute and I think about asking her out and wonder what she'll say

Big night last night, took an Opti-Men multi before bed and had a noticeable increase in both quantity and quality/length of dreams. Recall seems to be on the uptick anyway but the multi probably helped since I haven't taken any vitamins for over a month so I guess I was deficient in something

+ driving the wrong way on the freeway at night, dodging oncoming traffic, take an offramp intending to get back on the right direction, (fast food restaurant at exit?), driving down hills to the water, still have to go over the bridge?, we've taken a short cut to avoid traffic

+ outdoors blue sky bright daylight walking through backyards, my old college roommate house, we see large camellia trees in bloom, interesting because it's winter; out front to the street to get our car, the street is empty, standing in disbelief for a while, ah crap we must have been towed (talk with a police officer?); my old college car?

+ we're back at our old house, I'm standing in the back door to the garage looking in, the garage is spotless bright white and completely empty, the garage door is slightly ajar I hit the button and need to time it to get it to close properly [true], we will invite our relatives to come visit, what will they think about us leaving and returning?, it's a good thing we didn't sell it [false, we did] so we could return to it.

+ (long, vivid) beach volleyball, the ball is half-sized, a few are playing, I do some serves, one is called "out" and I don't believe it, how can I play with my physical condition?, young woman expert shows me a gravity- and inertia-defying impossible serve and I ask her questions about it, the guys are playing in the court with one side extending into the surf, shouldn't we play on the sideways court?

+ (fairly long, vivid) beach boulder "skiing" shark tide pool, massive grotto of fish caught right against the ocean, come and look!, two large sharks there, too, they both hop out of the water and come for me!, one normal looking one weird, I'm trying to run away but they surround me and I'm having trouble moving in the sand, make it away on the weird one's side, I didn't know that sharks could jump out of water to pursue prey!

+ (long, detailed) weird elevator, careful -- babies could fall of that railing on the high patio, ride the elevator down, go sideways, back up, only one guy gets on from the lobby despite a huge line of people waiting, enter the waiting area, what do I do?, find forms, this is to gain admittance to some sort of military academy, start filling them out, including my martial arts history, college courses history, what should I write?, where should I turn them in?, realize at the end that I've not started the process the right way and need to go to different counters and ask the female clerks for the right forms.

+ in back yard shed, observing workmen doing heavy dusty digging work, walking on raised dirt paths covered by gravel/chipped rocks some parts are worn through, I'm going to help with the digging, first I go out to a work table in the yard and find a dust mask and goggles and put them on, the dust mask is thick and has a large band of black rubbery material, I wonder if the goggles will block the dust from my eyes on the corners

+ in office cubes with spray bottles, we have a friendly game going of squirting water over the cube tops, luckily the spray doesn't go very far, I store my spray bottle within my reach around a cube corner to the left so it won't be spotted, I see some coworkers, one coworker (a woman) sends an arc of solid water onto my work space, the water enters to the electrical outlet of a small recharger device on my desk in front of me, a big spark flies up and electrical burning smell, the device goes dark, I'm mad, I stand up, storm over to the woman who shot the water, throw the device in front of her breaking it, and demand she buy me a new charger.

I was involved with some magic users along with being a magic user myself (the rest was fairly complicated) and met Satan (who was a dinosaur man) who gave me a quest to clear out some ruins.
