Convince him... You mean, convince yourself, right ? Your subconscious mind is a part of yourself. |
That was one of the 10000 things to do in a lucid dream on some other website. |
Yeah, I just speculate your subconscious would be a character since you don't have full control over it. I imagine dreams allow you to have deeper interactions with yourself? If so, it would be nice to be able to tell myself personally (tell myself personally?! wtf hahaha) to have lucid dreams every friggin' night |
I dont think it would work quite like that but it could be a nice metaphore to use in a dream. |
I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
Vminge - I think you'll find this LILD article interesting: |
I wonder if that would work? And even if it does, you would have to get into a LD with really good control and lenght before being able to apply this idea, which I guess would be difficult. |
I guess it all depends on the person. I've tried this method for myself (with my DG) and it hasn't been very successful for me. Although they can be a pain, I would still recommend working on one of the "traditional" induction methods, like DILD, MILD or WILD. |
Nah, I don't think you can really talk with your subconscious, or get it to do things for you. |

Depends on the defenition of "talking to s/o" in a dream. Ofc the dream character "subconscious" (or maybe it's a machine, a building, etc) isn't your real subconscious but if you are convinced it is, and you talk to it, the message might very well get carried to the real subconscious (which you might call "talking with your subconscious", even though the DC or w/e wasn't actually your subconscious). |
Ah. I tried doing something like that, but differently. Since everything around you is basically your subconscious, you might as well just shout. |
It would be the coolest thing ever if you could summon up a DC in a lucid dream and tell them, "Whenever I have a non-lucid dream in the future I want you to appear and tell me, "You're dreaming, do a reality check now." Although the ETWOLD and existing techniques work well, I simply can't accept that these techniques are the best ways to have lucid dreams. |
