      Question Lucid dreaming reboot

      Hi guys.

A few years ago I really got interested in lucid dreaming. I've had the experience of minor control come naturally to me, even before knowing about the topic. So it wasn't hard to get acquainted with the basics. After a few months, I was quite content with the amount of control I got.

But then, i started getting addicted to weed, and I don't know about other people, but dream recall became nearly impossible, let alone control. My habit became worse and worse, and it started having quite negative effects on my life in general.

Today, I am proud to say, i got off the stuff for some time now, and with that my dreams became clearer again, and control came back to me.
Countless reminders to come back to this forum are in my mailbox, so I said to myself, why the heck not?

Now that I'm back on track, I wanted to experiment a little with my dream control. Tonight i had this dream witch practically was a shooter-style game. The environment and the tools at my disposal where quite consistent, but the "enemies" and the way they reacted to my fire wasn't.

This got me thinking. The first time i messed around with dream control, I always trained myself to fly (typical, i know ^^) but when that worked, the environment/flying height/speed/amount of control kept changing.

I was wondering if i could make these elements more consistent. That way my dream would be much more gratifying. Not only would it be more "realistic", but the joy of being able to control one aspect of my dream (flying-holding a gun- whatever) would be much more meaningful if the things my actions influence actually behave in a believable way.

(sorry for the long text )
      Cheers!

71 views and no suggestions? that's not very nice is it? ^^
I must say i had another dream (with very good recall in fact!) which i didn't control,
but it confronted me with myself on so many things.

Doesn't trying to control your dream diminish the unconscious factor of the dream?
You would definitely associate with other stuff than you would not trying to do anything?

Any thoughts on this then? ^^
(sorry for the repost, but i DID introduce a new question )
      Cheers!

Well, I belive you didn't got replies because it's not very clear. When you mean ''control'', are you lucid ? As you may know, control is different from lucidity, you can be lucid but with no control.

What exactly are the problems ? You said inconsistency on the control, I belive it's normal. You need to train yourself to manipulate the dream correctly. Try reading some tutorials about dream control, and keep practicing and you'll find the best that suits for you.
Dream control is about belief. If you belive you can fly through a wall, you will. The limits are only imposed by yourself.

Dream control's all about expectations. Expect to feel the same acceleration and speed every time you fly, and don't disregard how flying will actually feel while you're doing it.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
