My quest for Lucidity! [help me out please]

Ok so ive known about Ld'ing for about a month.
i started keeping a Dream Journal about 2 days ago and i have about 2 tiny entries.
I have done WBTB about 5 times no success.
I have tried nap WILDS and before bed WILDS.
The farthest ive gone into SP is....my heart pounding wildly, my left hand feeling like its facing down when its facing up, my whole body vibrating.
      I fall asleep fairly easily.
I dont usually repeat a mantra.
i dont do many daily RC's.
I remember about 1 dream a week but forget them hours later.
i listen to a relaxing, binural beat mp3 looping on my ipod over earbuds while falling asleep.
I am trying to get Lucid, if you can help thanks.

There is a high possibility I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I though binurial beats didn't work with ear buds...

I thought you had to have the big round ones that go over your ears....
Send her a letter with a dead squirrel and a message "Like this squirrel, my love for you has expired"?

it really depends on what method you are trying to attain lucidity through, i have heard WILD's are no good if you haven't had a lucid dream yet (or are extremely difficult) and WILDing before be is near impossible. The forum agrees that binural beats are useless. Instead of reality checks try to maintain aware of everything around you, that way in a dream you notice something amiss and use a RC to confirm your dreaming. You probably need to get your recall at about 2 dreams a night before you get your first lucid, because if you only recall one dream a week you have probably missed your first lucid- recall is everything
They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
      By dreaming, every day.

The best advice I can give you is to try less complicated methods. DILD's are the least complicated technique to use. You absolutely have to remember at least one dream per night. Reality checks might help you, but focus on your dream recall first.

But with a DILD i would have to dream first. Thats the hard part. Honestly a wild seems to be the easiest method. but not the easiest to have a dream in

You need to get your recall up, its one of the most important things in lucid dreaming. There is no need to try WILD right now, even if you do use WILD as your main technique DILD is still important to practice. Do reality checks often.

Also WILD is imposible when you first go to bed. You have to wake up in the morning for it to work properly.

You dream EVERY time you sleep no mater what, you just don't remember many of them right now.

I Promise to you that for someone who has never LD'd before, WILDing will never be easier than DILDing. Don't do zombieish thoughtless RC every hour, just maintain awareness of everything you see. Ask yourself every once in a while, "Where am I?", "How did I get here?", "Why am I here?", and "Who are these peoploe?"

Those questions should always be roaming through your mind.
The Key is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams, because if you can do that, you can do anything.

its not counted by the entries, its counted by the days, and I think 1 week is the fine for a good dream recall .

There's one very obvious problem here.

      Oh wait...

Of course LDing is different for everyone, but for most people consistency is key. Once you start keeping a DJ your recall will develop. When you can remember dreams well they will be more vivid and it will be easier to become lucid.

Like lotsofface said, awareness helps too.
      Lolwut.
