      Your Dream Bedrooms?

Yeah, so I experienced my first "false awakening" from a lucid dream a few nights ago. I got out of bed, stretched, looked out the window, and realized that my window was about three feet higher up on the wall than it should be. I did the nose-plugging reality check, became lucid, and started examining my dream bedroom to see how realistic it was. Turns out, it was extremely accurate to reality except for the fine details. For example, I browsed through my books and CDs and noticed that most of them either had nonsensical titles and pictures or were not a part of my book and CD collection in real life.

What have been your guys' experiences with your dream bedrooms. How close have they been to your real bedrooms. I just find it really awesome that they are so incredibly accurate!

Well my false awakening, my bedroom was out of order, I mean it was my bed but the room was distorted, didnt get enough time to look around in it cause I woke up, Although I was in a state of mind where I believed that I had brought something back from my lucid dream, that was pretty funny.

It's pretty spot on for the most part, but occasionally I'll wakeup in places I haven't lived in for years, or with people that I haven't been with in years.

i'd only been lucid in my bedroom once and it ws in the middle of a dream so things were pretty messed up to begin with. i had two beds and my room did not have a closet and my beds were positioned in a different spot along with the window. very strange.

I dreamt recently of my bedroom, and it was quite accurate.

My rooms always to dark for me to tell, but I always seem to know im dreaming because its like way to dark and my room never gets that dark.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

I had a false awakening recently, everything by my bed was the same except there were some extra shelves above where my girlfriend sleeps.

I have a lot of false awakenings, and about 70-80% of my LD's start in my bedroom. The room is always different. Sometimes the window has moved to another wall. Sometimes the room has a balcony, sometimes it has a sink. It's different all the time. And a lot of times i notice the difference, and become lucid.
It's also a funny way of starting a LD. Because if i get lucid i just go to my front door and step out of it, and every time there is a different world waiting there to explore.

I just woke up from a lucid dream where I spun and successfully transitioned to my current bedroom. My window next to bed seemed larger and further away. Didn't get a chance to inspect because I felt my arm cramp. Up in real life when. I propped my dream body up on my arms which woke me up and I had to move my arms and rub my shoulder :-(

Mine usually represent old bedroom patterns mixed with new bedroom patterns. For example I had a dream a couple months ago where I was on a bed in the place it used to be, but I saw the Tv and it was in the place it is now.

I dream about my current bedroom all the time. Sometimes it's exactly like it is in reality, and sometimes it's the same size, but the furniture is arranged differently. Once, the light fixture in the ceiling was a different shape than it is in reality, which was what tipped me off that I was dreaming.

Most of my false awakenings seem to be in random places and only on occasion are in my bedroom. My bedroom seems to be the exact same in my dreams as in reality though.

Just as the waking ones! In fact, the whole house tends to be the same, which makes FAs boring <.<
