      Question Lucid trigger

I found myself few times lucid in dreams. The triger was always sex. Everytime I start to shave sex in my dreams, i become lucid. It's not bad thing , but there's a BUT. I want to experience other things in my dreams while being lucid. Few times i tried to do other things, but the sexual urge is to strong.

Is it possible to change my lucid trigger, and if it is, which is easiest to master. I'm trying with looking at my hand and breathing through clenched nose as reality checks, but no results.

Try looking in a mirror even while having sex. You can do this at the same time but I think what you may see will shock you enough out of your sex drive to move into other things. You need a jolt and this should do it.

that's based on expectations. Since people tell you it's scary, you'll probably believe it, so it will happen. It's all based on expectations, if you believe it's an image of you, it probably will be in the dream.

you are right, because from personal experiences, when you believe something bad is going to happen,or something is going to try to eat you or something like that,it usually happens.

I can confirm this. I've looked into mirrors in my dreams all my life, and nothing scary ever happened.
After I read on these forums that some people seem to have scary experiences looking into mirrors, I had one as well.
I understood that this was due to expectations though, and managed to cast it away.
      Dreams are simple.
It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

My reflection always looks deformed and very white. Kinda scary. OT: Set up a goal and tell yourself to achieve it. Look forward to it ALOT! If the urge to accomplish the goal is bigger than the urge to continue having sex, you're good to go. It can be kinda hard though, since your most primal needs dominate in dreams. But it's worth a shot!

If you're already having lucids, I wouldn't think it's too hard for you to have them without the sex as a trigger. Only practice awareness, and think alot about Lucid Dreaming. MILD perhaps?

      Good luck!
