I was watching CNN earlier today and came across a story about a lucid dream addict, Jared Lee Loughner, who shot Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and three members of her staff late last week. I was immediately incredulous when I heard this. How could someone confuse a dream with reality, assuming that he knew about reality checks, because if he were to perform a violent action, like shooting a public figure, he would certainly perform some kind of state test beforehand. He is up for the insanity plea right now on the grounds of his mental state during the crime, being that he thought he was dreaming. Any thoughts? |

I don't think think lucid dreaming is at fault |

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Well he's either insane or using lucid dreaming as an excuse for what he did... |

The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving..
