      Question regarding sleep paralysis

      Hey there,

Last night I had a lucid dream! It was a DILD. After wakening (as my dream told me it was time for school and I woke up thinking it was 7.50am but it was 6.30am lol) I realised I could move fully, and all was well. It was like waking up normally from sleep. Thw only problem is this - my left hand felt like pins and needles. I could move it, but it just has the pins and needles feeling. It went away after about 1 minute. I'm wondering if this was due to it actually being pins and needles (restricted blood flow) or whether it was sleep paralysis?

If so, a pins and needles feeling across pretty much my whole body doesn't sound thay great, once again adding towards my reluctance of DEILD (even though I think i could EASILY achieve it and will probably try it today as it's friday)

I think it is because of the first one. Sleep paralysis happens to you every night, WILDing just lets you percive that it happens.

      Come, thick night,
And pall thee in the dunnest smoke of hell,
That my keen knife see not the wound it makes,
Nor heaven peep through the blanket of the dark,
      To cry, 'Hold, hold!'

Yeah, sounds like pins and needles. I don't think Sleep paralysis has that feeling.
