Yeah try talking to the things trying to hurt you.

Or through them through the wall.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Arh..thats what I'm doing in this forum: Gathering info to control it-if its ever possible.

I can't do anything and everything I want in my deams, though I do have strange abilities in my dreams especially when in desperate need. And in case, this is usually what happens-I'll give you 2 examples of my dream's plan.

Last last night, I had double layer dream, means I have to wake 2 times. When I met a serious problem at the 2nd layer dream, I forced myself out of that scene and to wake on the 1st layer. And when I felt it was safe enough, I went back to the 2nd layer to investigate furthur. lol weird, leaving me tired in the morning.

While last night, I completed my whatever mission that is for the night, and resolved to waking in dreams and shocking to reality.
Means, I woke up from my 2nd layer dream (have mission-finally completed and forgotten due to shock) and went to 1st layer dream (no mission-location: in my living room feeling calm and peaceful as my senses slowly wake me)
and suddenly "^%#$%#&!!" my grandma shouted on the phone...and the image of me standing in my living room shattered, leaving me Super confused.

Arh! See? I've never gotten any real nice sleep at night without lucid dreams.
      You all should appreciate that.

This is just a bit of semantics ... I'm 99% certain that there is no such thing as a "dual layered dream", its just a single dream, and when you "wake up" nothing is actually happening any differently from any other part of your dream, its just a different mode of dream shifting.. the reason you can go back to "the second layer" is because you remember it still while dreaming, and you can go wherever you want in a dream.

The reason im certain there arent two layers of dreams running at once is because it would be horribly inefficient to keep that entire world alive in your mind while you arent using it. It's like a video game ... nothing is graphically drawn for a computer game except whats on your screen. They dont have your processor running things that no one will see untill they look, they just draw them when you look. The brain is very powerful, but that is in part because it's so efficient ... it doesn't bother doing things that dont matter

Again im reasonably sure that your dream content isnt the cause of your lack of sleep, but your lack of sleep shares is an effect that shares a cause with your dream content. In other words, you are stressed out or watch a scary movie and are in that mindframe when you go to bed, so you wont sleep as well and will have dreams relating to that frame of mind.

Hm... I dnow about that one. It always seems that every single time I ever have a really vivid dream (lucid or not) I am full of energy for the whole of the next day. I have even had times when I have to get up quite early after falling asleep late, only giving me 4-5 hours of sleep when I would remember a good length of dream and wake up perfectly rested and full of energy. Normally I need about 8-9 hours to feel good in the morning if I don't have lots of dreams. So really, I think dream content (or at least in part dream recall vividness, which is usually increased by lucid dreams) does play a large role in how rested you will be in the morning.

But are you more rested because you had a vivid dream, or did you have a vivid dream because you are more rested?

Ok thx for enlightenment. Then how about LD with no effort or methods? Just lie down and nothing then.. Any reasons or explainations for that?

I have heard of people with this issue before. I don't know the cause, but seems to be a distressing thing for those that have it. Those of us who have to work at lucid dreaming of course envy you, but I can see how there would be times when you just want the relaxation of non-lucid sleep.

I am wondering if you have seen a doctor or sleep specialist about this. If you can control the dream so the dreams are not stressful, then there is no problem. But if you are having trouble doing this, you may need to take some sedative before bed to help your mind relax. Especially if it is leaving you fatigued in some way in the morning, because dreams are not designed to do that.

Have you tried melatonin or another REM suppressing sleep aid?

Try to think of a lucid dream as simply a conversation using more media than you are use to. It is a langauge. Dont worry about controlling the environment, only your reaction to it, just like you do when awake. How you respond and what choices you make are what you are saying.

      Thanks for the concern.
Erm..I've seen a neuroscience doctor, nothing. And I can control my dream from the very start (I think its called: WILD).
I can decide what to do and do impossible stuffs at critical times, but I cannot twist the layout of the dream set for me.
I have no idea what those 2 words means.

Yes and I do react naturally like how I respond..but..its tiring. Like I've never slept throughout, just body here, mind somewhere else.

And so don't worry, those who wants lucid, I can tell you its very easy to obtain..
