This sounds very intriguing! I shall have to try this next time I get the chance. Does it work like watching a film, or..? |

if you can dream lucidly then in your dream go to a computer and open google.com and search for anything, the results will be directly from your memory, completely uninhibited by anything. |

um, im not sure what you mean exactly, i mean like I said I had accidentally tried it, and If I remember correctly I have a certain amount of control in my dreams (not a lucid dreamer) so I got the idea(yes in a dream) and did a search for the location of my long lost ipod in "dream google", |

Very inspiring. I wonder if we can trust in some advices we may eventually receive in our dreams wether from google or from a dream character. We all know it comes out of our own mind but how much can we trust ? Would any of you use the information received to make a decision in wake life ? |

so i guess if you search for a date and time, it might work, and i guess it could play back in video or photo form. But i dont thing that the mind is like that, for example, when i was like 7(14 now) my big sister(like 40 somethin now) got me a nerf gun that used yellow styrofoam balls for a party present. I had completely forgotten about the party, and the toy gun until I saw in science class a month ago an extremely similar ball. Then I had a flash back to that event(the bday party) |

~ Which is more important, a question or an answer?
Interesting method to search for something. Because you already know how google works, you can use it to have your subconscious mind provide you with information you may seek. It's a great idea and I'll certainly give it a go if I can remember to. |

I think the best way to test if it would work would be to ask the "dream google" a question you don't know the answer to but someone you know does, or an event that happened to you that you forgot but you know that your mom remembers it, or your friend ect... |

Lucid dream goals:
1. Get into SP /Check
2. have a long LD
3: Fly
4: Have some epic battles with my childhood heroes and villians (DBZ)
You could also install programs to change something like |
|
Behind those eyes
The vivid scene ,A lucid dream within
Questioned secrets are revealed
And everytime
You can't deny
The lines that trace your skin
Wounds that never heal
I tend to stay away from my computer while lucid because my keyboard usually gets all screwed up. If I want to know something I just ask my DG or a random DC. |
|
I would try this, but so far I've never been able to have a lucid dream that was longer then 2 or 3 minutes. |

I was very excited when I read this thread. I have been a LD for years now (but didn't realize at first what it was I was doing). A few months ago I was looking at some old pictures and came across a picture of my grandmothers house. I have a terrible memory and don't remember much about her house. I fell asleep thinking of her. I became lucid in a dream later that night and realized that I was in her house. I was able to decide where to go in the house and look around. I looked in drawers, closets and everywhere I could think. Even in my dream I was thinking " oh my god...I remember that (each time i looked somewhere new). I woke up and called my sister. We dicussed what I saw and she remembered everything. All of the things I saw in the house were accurate. Since then I have done this a few times. Each time I try to find some memory that has a strong feeling attached to it. I then fall asleep thinking (and feeling) that memory. When I awake in my dream I am able to expand on it. It is so cool!!! |
