Every time I wake up right after a dream and I can completely remember the dream, it feels like it was just a distant memory. It feels like it happened a week ago- and its just something my brain made up right when I was waking up. Even when I had my lucid dream, it felt really distant and like it wasnt happening.
I think I understand what you're saying. And I often feel that way too.
After waking up, my dreams always feel like memories of past events. I remember that the dream felt real at the time, just like when I remember past experiences in my waking life.
Although, sometimes after lucid dreams I feel like I just returned from some adventure, but it's still just a memory like any other.
Oh, just another thing that makes me think I'm a weird dreamer: I see a lot of people saying they want to have lucid sex/dream sex. I for one, have had sex at least 3 times in my dreams, and one of the times I was lucid. Is that normal for a lucid sex dream to be someones first lucid dream?
It is not uncommon for dreams, lucid or nonlucid, to involve sex. So it seems reasonable that someone's first lucid dream would be a sex dream.
From this post, there doesn't seem to me anything abnormal about your dreams.
Take care.
