Thats scary.. lol. I don't want to WILD because i've woken up with sleep paralysis, and what a terrifying feeling. I can't say I was a fan, but probably more because I wasnt expecting it. And it followed a nightmare which was worse. |

I accidently, and partially, WILDed last night. I really liked the feeling of SP, but near the end, right before what I know is lucidity, my eyelids started to "shake" like crazy. I tried not to open my eyes, but couldn't fight it anymore. I opened my eyes, and after a few RCs I realized I was awake, in the real world. Does this happen to any of you? Does it get better with time? |

Yeah, that sometimes happens during REM (or, rapid eye movement). |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I've WILDed before by accident, but I don't remember going into any form of SP. I just tried to get back to sleep after waking up, and a dream randomly appeared in front of me which I could just take control of, subsequently finding myself in the dream instead of in bed. |

Yes, that happens to me also but I can resist opening my eyes. It's a part of REM like Puffin said, it's not that unusual. |
