Question how can i control this?

so today i was trying to lucid i was laying down trying to be really aware i was about to go to sleep and each time i am about to drift away i get excited or get adrinaline and wake up. it pissed me off. ALSO when i was trying to wild today i was lying down and felt the need to clench my fist or punch something like a weird urge to hit something or just i don't know. any advice would help thanks.

Yeah that happens to me too, it is the reason it takes me hours to fall asleep each night, I would like to know the solution to that as well.

For the urge to move, that is what you want happen when WILDing. It means your body is trying to determine if your mind is asleep. Don't do anything when this happens, don't move at all, as your body is checking if it's safe to go into sleep paralysis. Just ignore any urges or anything.

      Good luck!

This is a common problem with going lucid. The excitement sometimes becomes a bit too much, and you end up having issues going to sleep. There are a couple solutions to that, but the most common one is just to learn to relax like you normally would when you go to bed. Practice at relaxing more. And if that isn't working, try doing things that wear you out before you go to bed. That usually puts you to sleep faster.

And yeah, it's just like MIIISTERNEUGIT said, that's a normal bodily response when trying to do a WILD. Just relax, don't move at all, and wait. Clenching your fist, while it being only a slight movement, would more than likely break the whole process.
