Wouldn't it be cool to be able to WILD into a lucid dream, and become an avatar? Not avatar the airbender but the movie Avatar

Personally I think this is now my dream goal lol, especially if you can pick up from where you "went to sleep" in the dream world and "reawaken", ready to save Pandora by the imperialism of humans haha.

I've went into one of those cylindrical machines and stepped out of it as an Avatar before. Not quite how it goes in the movie, but it'd be hard to switch locations (as your human body and Avatar aren't the same one thing). It was pretty damn cool! Then there's the whole "making it to Pandora" deal... I've stepped through a glass mirror, but the world was blurry and somewhat dark. I have been at a post before, where I'm on Pandora and there's polished concrete on the ground, complete with a rectangular tower that had a square top, with a few banshees on it. I flew one then, but it didn't last long.

It's totally worth it, for anyone who's contemplating doing this.

Be sure to watch the movie or look at pictures before trying a WILD, so you know exactly what to visualize when teleporting, and when shapeshifting/becoming a Na'vi.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I'm totally going to try this after I watch Avatar again. It'd be awesome to fight with those huge many legged catlike things. Or flying one of the flyerbirdies past the floating mountains during the sunset with the wind rushing past. Ahh :^DD

Avatar is pretty popular around here, when the movie first came out there were tons of threads about it and Pandora in general. You should search for them. I don't think you need to become an Avatar at all...just transform into a real Na'vi.

Once you enter the astral dream scape you have the ability to manifest your imaginations and they are limitless, will power goes a long way next time your lucid, will it so. ex. " Turn my perception of self into a avatar now!" play with commands see what happens. namaste

I believe the actual beings are called Na'vi... the avatars are the human controlled bodies. I don't imagine this would be at all hard to do, and would definitely be interesting. If I were to do this, though, I'd try to recreate Pandora in its entirety within my dream. THAT would be cool!
